Also am using them for my 2 year old who wears anywhere from 2t - 5t and my oldest wears up to a size 8 in girls and these still work pretty well for that size. Anything after that and we use regular sized hangers **Q: My son is a 5T - I saw a review that said these didn't fit size 8 clothes? Have others found this to be a problem as well?** A: There are baby size velvet hangers that are 11" wide and kid size velvet hangers that are 14" wide. My kids' clothes (size 8T and above) need the KID sized hangers. The baby size hanger are too small. The problem is that many of the advertised hangers use the words "kid" and "baby" interchangeably so unless you can see the hanger dimensions listed, you won't know for sure which one you are getting. For size 8T and above you will definitely want the KID size hangers. **Q: Because this is an amazon product, question to amazon. do these hangers really contain lead? i need to know before i purchase more.** A: In no way would the amount of lead in these that would be “rubbing off on your clothing, then rubbing off on to you”, in a high enough amount to be detrimental to a persons health. Also they are covered in that velvet stuff. Come on people use your brains, you have a higher percentage of dying in a plane crash than being hurt by the lead in these hangers. Amazon please add a disclaimer that says “don’t lick these while pregnant.” LOL **Q: What specific materials are these made out of?** A: Apparently there's lead in the metal hooks. Which is so disappointing because I really did love these hangers ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely adorable and truly non-slip! I recently picked up a pack of Amazon Basics Kids Velvet Non-Slip Clothes Hangers for my little one's closet, and they've been a fantastic addition. If you're looking to organize your child's wardrobe, these hangers are definitely worth considering. First Impressions: The pack comes with 30 hangers, which is perfect for a complete closet overhaul. They're designed specifically for baby and toddler clothes, measuring 11.6 inches wide. The beige color is neutral and goes well with any closet decor, giving everything a nice, tidy look. Quality and Design: These hangers have a velvet finish, which not only looks great but also provides a non-slip surface. This feature is a lifesaver because it keeps those tiny clothes from slipping off and ending up in a heap on the closet floor. The hangers are sturdy yet lightweight, so they won't weigh down the closet rod. Functionality: The size is just right for baby and toddler clothes. They hold everything from onesies to little jackets perfectly, without stretching out the fabric. The slim design helps maximize closet space, allowing me to fit more clothes without crowding. Plus, they're gentle on delicate fabrics, so no worries about snags or damage. Value for Money: For a pack of 30, these hangers are a great deal. They offer quality and functionality at an affordable price, making them a smart choice for any parent looking to keep their child's closet organized. Compared to other hangers I've tried, these offer the best balance of price and performance. Overall Thoughts: The Amazon Basics Kids Velvet Non-Slip Clothes Hangers are a must-have for any parent wanting to keep their child's clothes neat and organized. They're durable, stylish, and do an excellent job of keeping clothes in place. Whether you're setting up a nursery or just need to tidy up your toddler's closet, these hangers are a fantastic solution.
