RTM C90 | Type One 90 Minute Blank Music Cassette | Ideal for Audio Recording...

RTM quality is unmatched in the reel to reel world. It's no wonder that these cassettes are so good. They are a shining star in the malaise of new cassettes...with Type II and IV tapes long gone, the best anyone can hope for is a manufacturer making a good tape. THIS IS THE TAPE. If you have a high end deck and insist on new tape, you won't be disappointed by these. Both this and the 60 minute version are solid. Calibration on a high end deck tells most of the story. It's not a superferric, but it does have a high MOL and a very consistent coating. Background hiss levels are acceptable, especially considering the MOL. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Don’t think it could be much better!

So, this was the first tape I got in the mail as my wife had ordered Maxell cassette tapes, but they were going to be delayed. I brought this as it would arrive before the tapes, and I wanted to make my first mixtape sooner, rather than later. My first mixtape came out amazing, no drop in quality and hardly any grainy sounds from the playback. When the Maxell tapes came and the playback quality testing was done with them, well, the results were not what I expected or was looking for. I compared it with the first tape I made that used the RTM C90 and the difference in quality is night and freaking day. RTM C90 tapes are vastly better than the Maxell in my experience. That said, it brings another point of contention some might have when looking for making mixtapes. Cost wise, it is hard to justify buying a pack of 3 for the price of $30. Buying one tape for $10 while not bad for the short term, isn't really great if you're looking to make multiple. In terms of quality, I would recommend these over the Maxell without a doubt, price wise well...it depends on how often you'll be making mixtapes. So keep that in mind.

Works great comes with labels for your tapes. Audio quality sounds great!

Certain areas are inconsistent and sound scratchy, so i wouldn’t say it’s “high quality professional cassette”

It's a very good cassette that delivers high quality recorded sound, considering that it's a Type 1 item. However, it's not worth the price for it, when you can buy packs of Maxell Type 1 at Amazon for less money per tape.

I had some cassette that work great, on it, only 1 unit it suck this tape & that unit work great to but not with this tape weird!!

Recordings are no better than a regular tape. Don’t waste your time or money. I do not recommend this tape.

Bonjour, pour une bande type 1 elle est de très bonne qualité. Elle est presque de même qualité audio que la type 2.

Sorprendente calidad y sonido limpio, desde una cinta ferro y Dolby C, con dbx...no hace falta decir nada, como ellos dicen, hay calidad de estudio en éstas trabajadas cintas, limpieza y sonido tal cual, si hay calidad hay que pagar, mi cassette Technics lo agradece, super limpio el sonido y supera cualquier cinta de los 70, de todo lo usado hoy dia...nadie le supera. Sinnvoller ist sicher C60. Aber ansonsten absolut top!

Casette geef een goed geluid

Musicassette a mio parere eccellenti. Sono arrivate ognuna protette da una scatola di cartone. Ho notato subito la qualità delle custodie che sono leggermente più spesse di altre in commercio. Il case è robusto è ben fatto chiuso da 5 viti per un eveltuale smontaggio. Nella parte bassa vi è un rinforzo di plastica nero come guida del nastro che impedisce vibrazioni nella lettura, accorgimento mai visto in altre cassette. Sto duplicando da vinile e il suono è ottimo in tutti i registri, non si nota una minima perdita forse un pochino solo nel registro acuto ma niente di eccessivo! Quello che mi ha colpito maggiormente è la qualità costruttiva. Sono molto soddisfatto e consiglio l`acquisto, restituiscono un suono pulito senza rumori di fondo, anche nel riavvolgimento rapido sono molto silenziose più di altre marche quotate. Che dire ne farò una scorta col tempo!
