Very good pencil sharpener.
Very good quality an sharpens the pencils very well. Good value for money. Easy to use. The flap that lifts up to reveal the sharpener, van ne stiff to open. The sharpener is small so fills up quite quickly.

Good value for money. Money well spent
Brilliant product, I have purchased two of the same. When I misplaced one another one is within reach. This product is one of the very best pencil sharpener, which had two holes, a larger and a smaller hole which is ideal. Derwent sharpener sharpen pencils very well, no problem and no trouble with the sharpener, they work.very well. I will buy again from this same seller.

Decent
Sharpens pencils nicely with a good bin size. A little finicky to open the bin up. Good value for money. It's a basic pencil sharpener.

Absolutely brilliant!
You wouldn’t think a sharpener could be so good! Or any different from any other sharpener (as I did) but honestly, this is the best pencil sharpener I’ve ever used! I’m an artist, I’ve used many many over the years, and this one is hands above any of the others! It sharpens into that ‘brand new point’, every time, old pencils are brand new again with that particular angled point. I’m excited to sharpen pencils now! Yes I’m obviously getting old when such a thing brings joy, lol, but what can I say, new sharp pencils are a delight to any artist! It was a tad difficult to get out at first, to empty, but once you’ve done it once then it’s easier thereafter. Compact with a flip lid and 2 sizes to accommodate most if not all of your pencils.I love it and definitely recommend it, you’ll see what I mean about the new pencil points! So if your thinking about it, get it!..you won’t be disappointed:)

Doesn't break 2b pencil lead.
Easy and clean to use. Not too much pressure and one of the two blades will bring your pencil to a sharp point. Bit of a challenge to get the waste container off but once done, no problem.

Hard to empty.
It looks good and sharpens well but having to pull the plastic case out of the plastic frame/ external bits that are attached to the lid means that it’s fiddly and can dump the shavings on your lap. It also feels like it will break at some point.Personally I don’t think it’s worth £5 for a sharpener, but I haven’t bought one since I was in Primary school, so maybe that’s how much they cost now.

Gets a good sharp point on pencils
I like that it contains the sharpenings. It sharpens to a very good point.I'm using it for colour drawing using polychromos and Pablo's.You do need to empty once full as point can break if not.But overall I'm really pleased with my purchase and I think it's a decent price and does the job.

Really bad design and far too small!
I don't like this sharpener. I bought it to replace my old Derwent tub sharpener which is now blunt, but the container is half the size of the old version, it's very fiddly to open and empty and if a broken lead gets stuck it's difficult to remove it as the sharpener remains inside the tub and only the bottom of the tub removes when opening it to empty it. Another case of a company changing their design to make something worse than the old design not better. A rip off for the money!
