While there aren't a whole lot of different designs, the spread of the needles with this tool helps break up clumps with ease and definitely distributes the ground coffee really well. I don't use the stand it comes with, but the magnets keep it locked to my machine just fine anyway, which makes storing it when not in use a breeze. It's a good size for 58mm portafilters, but I presume it might be a bit large if you're, say, using a 51mm or smaller, so I'd consider that. But 54-58mm should be a real sweet spot. It comes with extra needles as well in case any break or get warped, so it definitely seems like it's made to last. You see these exact WDT tools everywhere, so they're popular and sometimes it's not all down to hype. I'm sure once I've got my setup a bit more dialed in, I'll be using the included stand, but I definitely noticed that the stand is sturdy and heftier than expected. Super nice of them to think of a stand though, I've seen plenty of WDT tools that don't have one, so awesome! Definitely consider this one if you're in the market for a WDT tool. I use mine every day (often multiple times a day) Review: Great RDT tool - Works well and is easy to maintain. I like that the magnetic holder keeps the tool accessible without risking damage to the needles. ## Features - 【WDT Espresso Distribution Tool】Perfect tool to use WDT (Weiss Distribution Technique) to distribute coffee grind evenly in portafilter - 【9 Pins Spread Out Strategically】Uses 0.4mm diameter stainless steel needles for perfect combination of rigidity and flex. 9 Pins spread out strategically for efficient stirring. - 【Additional Set of 9 Needles With 0.25mm Diameter】If you prefer soft flex swap out and use included 0.25mm diameter needles. - 【3 Magnetic Points & Included Metal Stand】The top of the tools has 3 strong magnetic points that can be attached to any steel surface e.g. steel espresso machine. The metal stand is also included. - 【Uniform & Efficient Stirring】This WDT tool works really well to keep the coffee grounds from clumping and for a smoother coffee. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #228,416 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #115 in Espresso Hand Tampers | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 540 Reviews | ## Images ![MiiCoffee WDT Tool, Magnetic Coffee Stirrer 0.4mm 9 Installed Pins + 0.25mm 9 Extra Needles for Espresso Distribution Tool with Metal Stand for Barista Espresso (Black) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71TPLFt49hL.jpg) ![MiiCoffee WDT Tool, Magnetic Coffee Stirrer 0.4mm 9 Installed Pins + 0.25mm 9 Extra Needles for Espresso Distribution Tool with Metal Stand for Barista Espresso (Black) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Xmk7jFb9L.jpg) ![MiiCoffee WDT Tool, Magnetic Coffee Stirrer 0.4mm 9 Installed Pins + 0.25mm 9 Extra Needles for Espresso Distribution Tool with Metal Stand for Barista Espresso (Black) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/618o8eNs-CL.jpg) ![MiiCoffee WDT Tool, Magnetic Coffee Stirrer 0.4mm 9 Installed Pins + 0.25mm 9 Extra Needles for Espresso Distribution Tool with Metal Stand for Barista Espresso (Black) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81xJ9hjqnNL.jpg) ![MiiCoffee WDT Tool, Magnetic Coffee Stirrer 0.4mm 9 Installed Pins + 0.25mm 9 Extra Needles for Espresso Distribution Tool with Metal Stand for Barista Espresso (Black) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71eaDbob3hL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great WDT tool *by J***E on March 19, 2026* I needed to upgrade from my first WDT tool, and after doing a bit of shopping around I landed on this one. I like that the magnetic holder keeps the tool accessible without risking damage to the needles. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reasonably priced great WDT tool *by Y***I on March 27, 2026* I purchased this WDT tool for a few reasons; 1)The flared angled needles, 2)magnetic attachment, and 3)price. Many of the WDT tool on the market has the needles straight down and too close to each other, making it crump up the ground coffee. On my old one I bend the needles out myself in order it to work well. I really like that they blunted the acupuncture needle tips so it's not too sharp to poke you with surprise. The other design I like is the spring handle part of the acupuncture needles are completely inside the screw cap. I like the overall design and its price. A few things I wish it was better; 1)The three small magnets are really weak and lacks the 'snap' like strength, 2)The plastic handle has a low quality finish, almost as bad as some 3D printed plastic. ## Frequently Bought Together - MiiCoffee WDT Tool, Magnetic Coffee Stirrer 0.4mm 9 Installed Pins + 0.25mm 9 Extra Needles for Espresso Distribution Tool with Metal Stand for Barista Espresso (Black) - Breville the Bambino Espresso Machine with Auto Milk Frother, Espresso Maker with Seconds Heat Up, Cappuccino & Latte Machine for Home, BES450BSS, Brushed Stainless Steel - Normcore V4 Coffee Tamper 53.3mm - Spring-loaded Tamper – Barista Espresso Tamper with 15lb / 25lb / 30lbs Replacement Springs - Anodized Aluminum Handle and Stand - Flat Base --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/538685288-miicoffee-wdt-tool-magnetic-coffee-stirrer-0-4mm-9-installed](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/538685288-miicoffee-wdt-tool-magnetic-coffee-stirrer-0-4mm-9-installed) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
