I've had a couple of plastic Brita jugs but I've always ended up not using them as I cant get them as clean looking as I would like. But this glass one is so easy to clean and looks clean so I feel confident. The use timer in the lid works well and seems to be accurate. Easy to fill, clean, and use. My only disappointment is that it is not fridge door friendly so we can't use it for cold drinking water, we use it to fill out kettle and coffee machine and it's really cut the amount of limescale. Not too heavy but not as light as a plastic one. It's sturdy but being glass it will break if dropped, but it feels like it will withstand a bang on the sink, but we are being careful! No horrid taste so that great.

Great improvement on the all plastic jug.. Easy to keep clean and water tastes great. Also don't have to descale kettle or coffee machine anywhere near as frequently. If you have a coffee machine you need one of these. Only drawback is it doesn't fit easily in the fridge door. Doesn't bother me but other family members would prefer that.

Pros - Packaging was well thought-out for this fragile item. - It works exceptionally well and filters about 750ml at a time. - Looks great and is easy to clean. Cons - It's way too big to be put in the fridge like the oval plastic ones which is a little disappointing. - The glass is very thin, especially on the bottom. I feel I have to be extra cautious. - It's a little too expensive at full price, I would wait for a sale.

Great water filter love it

After shopping around and even giving a competitor a fair shot, I've come back to Brita, thanks to their sleek new glass carafe. This thing makes filtering water feel like an upscale experience. It's not just about looks, though—it’s also a breeze to clean, and you won't have to deal with those unsightly scratches that plastic carafes develop over time. Plus, glass just feels more hygienic. In most cities, filtering your water is non-negotiable, and I've definitely noticed an improvement in taste with Brita. It's like going from tap sludge to mountain spring purity. However, there is a minor hiccup: this carafe won’t fit into the fridge side door. Seriously, Brita, a little fridge-friendly design wouldn’t hurt. Despite this minor flaw, I still wholeheartedly recommend it. If you want your water to taste great and look stylish while doing it, this glass carafe is a must-have. Just make sure to clear some shelf space in your fridge and enjoy your elevated hydration game!

Great clean, bettwr to use than plastic version,

This is advertised as a "Glass" jug, but about 40% of it is PLASTIC. Whilst the main jug is indeed glass, the large Filter Funnel inside which holds the cartridge is pure plastic. So what's the point of buying this? I was looking for a GLASS water filter product, to avoid ingesting micro-plastic particles into my body. If the inner filter funnel is all plastic, it is constantly going to be in contact with the water, defeating the whole purpose of buying this in the first place. This product is ill-conceived, overpriced and NOT even a 90% glass product. It is also disappointingly small, not as large as many other Brita Plastic Jugs. I don't want to have to refill it several times a day. Many people have pointed out that it is fragile. I can't comment on that. It does look quite pretty AND IS ELEGANT. BUT USELESS. I trusted Brita so I did not read the negative comments. before buying this. I assumed it would be made of glass. Having unpacked it and checked it, it is now back in its carton to be returned. Waste of time and money. Sorry Brita, as a reputed and trusted company, surely you can do better? I don't want to dump more dissolved micro-PLASTICS into my body. I am surprised that BRITA do not answer to any of the reviews, especially the critical points raised by so many purchasers.

Tras dos meses de uso sigo encantado con esta jarra de cristal. El cristal es de excelente calidad y parece bastante resistente, incluso frente a pequeños golpes. Lo que más me gusta es que, a diferencia de mi antigua Brita de plástico, el mango no se ensucia fácilmente, lo cual es un alivio. El diseño es muy elegante y la tapa abatible hace que llenarla sea súper sencillo. El indicador para los filtros fue fácil de poner y funciona de maravilla, aunque siento que los filtros podrían durar un poco más antes de cambiarlos. La única pega que le veo es que, al ser circular, no cabe bien en la bandeja del frigorífico, pero aún así es bastante práctica y cómoda para tener en la encimera. En general, estoy muy contento con la compra, ¡tanto por su funcionalidad como por su diseño tan premium!

Zajmuje mniej miejsca niż dzbanek plastikowy, bo ma okrągła a nie owalną podstawę. Wskaźnik poziomu zużycia filtra świeci w momencie pochylenia dzbanka, więc nalewając wodę do czajnika dowiadujemy się, czy trzeba wymienić filtr. Moim zdaniem czujnik jakoś szacuje ilość zużytej wody, bo zmiana koloru nie ma związku z czasem. Jeżeli to prawda, to mogli się pochwalić SI w dzbanku.
