Very nice, as described. A little difficult to peel off the protective film but well worth the effort.

My best purchase of the year. I cannot express how much I love something this simple. The are sturdy, skid-resistant and non-intrusive. I have used them on my nightstand, on my bookshelves, fireplace mantel and in my class. I cringed at the price but now know they were worth every penny.

The black bookends did the job of holding books in place but titles were obscured. The clear acrylic ones are much nicer. They come with a strip of cushion dots that you apply to the underside of bookend so books do not slide. Glad I got these. I shall order more now that I see they are so much better than the metal ones. The tiny green tabs are used to pull off the protective covering. Do not yank or the tan rips off. Scotch tape does not have a strong enough adhesive to pull the protective coating off. That’s why I use packing tape as shown in the photo. I didn’t want to use a knife edge to try and pry the covering off because I didn’t want to scratch the acrylic.

When peeling the plastic film from the acrylic surface, the tabs broke off and i had to scratch into the the film with the side of a kitchen knife to get hold of the film and peel it off. Beautiful and sturdy bookends that I feel sure will last for years, but it took hours to get the film off of the acrylic surface, so I couldn't give five stars because of the difficulty in removing the film.

These are exactly what I was looking for! They're super clear, lightweight, scratch resistant due to the included rubber bottoms, sturdy, and work so well for a multitude of things. I use them on my bookshelves of course, but also to display purses. I'm also using one as a doorstop. Super handy!

Great thickness, good height but the sticky pads aren’t sticky enough. Using for a child’s bookshelf and they keep sliding everywhere. Bought a different brand replacement pads and that seems to be working better

Easy to use and does the job. Just keep in mind if you only have 1-2 books the weight might not hold it down

These were perfect. Exactly what I wanted. And most importantly, they keep the books very secure. And because they're clear, they keep my books looking organized without a lot of extra design going on!
