​I purchased the 6-pack of BRITA MAXTRA PRO Pure Performance Water Filter Cartridges, and I wanted to share my experience to help others who might be on the fence. Bottom line: great water filter, no issues, thank you! ​Size, Weight & Colour: These cartridges are standardized perfectly for BRITA jugs. They are compact (measuring about 5.7 x 10 x 7.6 cm) and very lightweight at just 0.11 kg each. They come in the standard white plastic casing. Because they are so small and light, storing the other five cartridges in the kitchen cupboard takes up virtually no space until you need them. ​Ease of Use: They are incredibly straightforward to swap out. If you've never used them before, it's virtually foolproof: just submerge the new filter in water to get the air bubbles out, push it firmly into the funnel of your jug until it clicks, and run a couple of cycles of water through it before drinking. ​Value for Money: Based on my experience and reading other reviews, the ongoing cost of replacing water filters every 4 weeks can add up. However, buying this 6-pack definitely softens the blow and provides excellent long-term value. You are set for roughly half a year! It’s also significantly cheaper than buying bottled water, and much better for the environment. ​Pros: ​Improved Taste: It noticeably removes chlorine, impurities, and limescale. Tap water tastes clean, and hot drinks (like tea or coffee) taste so much better without that nasty film on top. ​Bulk Value: The 6-pack is the most economical way to buy these, giving you months of supply in one go. ​Eco-friendly: A fantastic alternative to single-use plastic water bottles, and BRITA has a great recycling scheme for the used cartridges. ​Cons: ​Ongoing Expense: The only real downside is that you do have to replace them monthly for the best performance, which is an ongoing running cost. ​Answering common buyer questions: ​Does it really help with hard water? Yes. If you live in a hard water area, you will immediately notice a reduction in limescale build-up in your kettle. ​Are they compatible with older jugs? Yes, they fit perfectly into standard BRITA jugs (like the Marella or Aluna) just like previous standard Maxtra versions did. ​Overall, I highly recommend this 6-pack. If you want consistently clean, great-tasting water with zero fuss, you can't go wrong with these.

They are good but we get through a pack of 6 in about 3 months using the traffic light water jug. Seems to turn amber then red in less than 3 weeks. Obviously that could be the amount of water but since there’s no volume count you just have to take it on trust that they are actually consistently lasting as long as the claim. How would you know if they’re not?

These filters work perfectly and drastically improve the taste of my tap water. They are super easy to fit into the jug. Very happy with the quality and will definitely keep buying them.

I bought these for my new water jug as spares they were excellent value and you really notice the difference in tap water quality I use mine daily, I highly recommend these items and seller.

Same quality as previous BRITA filters I have bought. Water tastes clean and the filters do what they are supposed to. The only gripe is the cost. Replacing filters roughly once a month means it is an ongoing expense that adds up over time. The 6 pack helps soften the blow but I wish the price was a little lower. If you have a BRITA jug, these are the filters to get. Just be prepared for the running costs.

Very pleased with my new Brita Jug I think it's a great improvement then my previous one nice made jug at a very good price also Delivery was great right on time.

No sé cómo he tardado tanto tiempo en descubrir este producto. Venía gastando muchísimo plástico en botellas porque, aunque el agua de mi grifo es buena, el sabor no me gustaba nada. Con estos filtros originales de Brita el cambio ha sido radical. El agua ahora es una maravilla y tiene un sabor totalmente neutro y limpio.Estoy suscrita a este pack de 6 y es comodísimo. Salen más económicos y te olvidas de tener que estar comprándolos. Es un producto genial para ahorrar dinero, no cargar peso con garrafas y dejar de generar tanto residuo plástico. Totalmente recomendados si el agua de tu zona sabe mal.
