Applied Nutrition Casein Protein Powder - Micellar Casein Supplement, Slow Release Protein (900g - 30 Servings) (Chocolate Cream)

I have been using Applied Nutrition supplements for a while now and always find them to be of a high quality. I bought this to have before bed as I have the critical whey for post workouts etc. The flavour is excellent and even though I have this with water it still feels like a little treat before bed. It mixes well in water and also milk - my husband mixes it with hot milk.

Extremely sweet and not very chocolatey. I have a sweet tooth but this is sickly. Needs to be mixed with something bitter like cacao nibs to be tolerable. I made mistake of blending it with milk and a ripe banana and I was almost sick lol. Decent price though & decent quality

Mixes very well, easy to drink before bed. Overal good value for money. Have purchased again!

Brilliant product

Bought for daughter. Unpleasant bitter after taste. Unbeknown to me she buys another top quality brand which has no bitter after taste. I doubt she'll use these, and probably bin them.

I have only had whey protein before so I have no like for like comparison. The taste is okay. About average for a strawberry protein of any kind. Never great but isn't awful usually. It is very gritty in the throat as I swallow even after a lot of mixing. I have no idea if that is normal for this source of protein. The reseal top doesn't reseal so it does make it awkward to store. I will likely need to buy a large gar of some kind to put it in to keep it fresher.

I loved the strawberry taste and I blended with fresh strawberry , banana and cold milk and it tasted like a milkshake. It really helped with my cravings for something sweet after dinner and before I sleep (despite the amount of sugar is almost nothing to worry about. I decided to take casein again after long time pause because I want to improve the intake of protein and also because I do intermittent fasting and this protein promise to release slowly up to 8 hours .

Very Balanced formula and tastes great.
