Since zymol has significantly increased their price for this leather conditioner what is a good alternative?

I don't switch brands of engine oil, because I believe the seals and gaskets get used to a brands "Additive Package". I believe leather also gets used to its conditioner, and would not change for price. Also, I have (on various cars) tried other leather conditioners and find Zymol to be the most effective at softening and maintaining leather softness. IMO it also has a nice fragrance.

Does this have the terrific smell (like coconut) when using it?

I wouldn't exactly call the smell "terrific" nor would I say it smells at all like coconut or anything else recognizable. It really smells just like a typical leather conditioner would. I'd describe it as kind of a fatty slightly synthetic smell more than organic.
