Will it last the Summers Sun?
The color change from black to a nice bright red gets you neighbors and guests attention. Gloss and adhesion were very good, but will it last? I just sanded the old paint on my gas grill and it took 4 to 5 coats to cover. If your making a radical change I recommend the clean metal Rust-Oleum primer as a good white base first. Love the fan spray as it covered in no time. Rust-Oleum claims you can paint upside down but It started cutting out when I held the can horizontally. It dried to touch in 20 mins and I was handling it in 1 hour at 72 degrees! Impressive. The real test will be seeing if it will stand up to the 400 -500 degrees on a gas grill for 30 mins over multiple cooking sessions this summer. It only claims "intermittent" exposure to 600 degrees. Rust-Oleum claims good gloss and color retention? We will see how it holds up to the UV rays of the sun parked on my side patio all Summer. I didn't have much luck with UV rejection on their Painters Touch paints in red and yellow.

NOT EVEN CLOSE TO A COLOR MATCH AS ADVERTISED!!
I actually have no idea of the "heat resistance", "ease of use", or "adhesion" of the product, as I have not (nor will I ever) use the product.I was trying to find a spray paint that matched the color of a high-end, folding bicycle that I keep on my boat, for some "touch-up" of select areas that had developed corrosion. (Everything on a boat, it's prone to corrosion.) Based on the ad, this APPEARED to be an exact color match, even though I did not need the "heat resistance" feature of the product. But if you look at the attached photo, the image on the left was taken from the ad... the photo on the right was taken of the item that actually arrived. Obviously there is little similarity, other than that they are both "shades of gray".RETURN IT? My only "land" transportation is an RV that gets 7 mpg, and the nearest Amazon return "drop-off" point is a 50mi round trip. As such it would cost me at least THREE TIMES the purchase price just to return it! Add to that the wasted time to do so. So this will be yet another purchase that goes into the trash, as a cheaper alternative to returning it!I NEVER would have expected this from RUST-OLEUM... the brand that USED to be my go-to for spray paint! Whatever happened to "truth in advertising"?

Outstanding Product
Great quality product...you can't go wrong with Rustoleum. I used it for my M3G4's engine cover and calipers.
