Can i use plastic hangers will it fit through the holes?

Yes. The holes are big. 1/2” x 3/8”. The biggest cloth hanger can go thru the hole.

Can it be used for hanging to get wrinkles out your clothes with a steamer?

Yes. This SONGMICS drying rack can be used for hanging to get wrinkles out of your clothes with a steamer.

what is the height when folded? Can this fit into travel bags like suitcases/trolley bags?

It comes apart in 3 sections but the feet fold down and they lay flat. The lower section is almost 20 inches. I believe you could put it in a suitcase but not a backpack. I can’t say enough about this rack, it’s really amazing for drying. I hope this helps, have a blessed day.
