My Favourite For Making Templates
I make templates for casting resins and plastics from sculpey type clays and this is my favourite ever. It is super smooth, holds its shape beautifully, can made to be really shiny with a few coats of laquer, and is satisfying to work with. If you are looking for a convincing golden gold, I'd recommend to go for gold and gold leaf whatever you're making. It's quick, easy and shiny. This clay is pretty, it has pretty strands of different shades of "gold" but I don't buy it for it being gold, just for being fabulous, smooth and wonderful to work with. Now to order another pound of this lovely stuff ... :-)

Premo accents are great, unlike some other glittery polymer clays
Premo accents are great, unlike some other glittery polymer clays, this one does not crumble and is very smooth. It bakes without breaking. Recommended!

Nice size for the money. Good value if you use a lot of metallic colors. Mixes with other colors for a wide variety.

Actually, I bought this clay for some little doll faces... I like to add eyepins, and frame with a bunch of other beads. Makes a cute necklace, and requires my skill level w clay/ zero! The clay stays soft till you bake it! So if you have to redo it, no problem!

Sculpey Premo is my favorite! This is one of the colors I use the most, so I was very pleased to find it and such a large brick. The clay is fresh and easy to work with. I can tell it hasn’t been sitting around in a factory for years. Sometimes when I order clay from Amazon, that is the case.

I have recently started a business making polymer clay items, mostly jewelry I tried several brands of polymer clay, and Premo definitely is my favorite. It's strong and flexible when cured, the colors mix well, and the one pound packages are a blessing for someone like me, using large quantities! The gold is one of the colors I use the most, and while I wouldn't say it looks metallic, it's certainly identifiable as "gold" color. I wouldn't use it to make findings, since it does still look like clay, not metal. which is what is is, so that shouldn't be an issue, but I've seen people who think because it's gold colored, it should substitute for metal, and that's just not the case.
