Each year I buy an A1 ClearMind year planner and each year it seems I spend 6 months trying to make it stay on the wall as it tries to roll itself back up, despite doing the reverse rolling, weight it down flag, etc etc. This year I decided to try an A1 frame to keep the pesky planner flat. I bought this Vivarti frame and it fits the bill. First things first - it looks great. And secondly, it is very light, so instead of using the provided hooks, I used Command Picture Hanging strips, one pair on each each vertical, to hold it up, and seems to be doing fine. I can't vouch for the transparency of the sheet as I'm not using it - giving it is a year planner that I need to write on, I can't cover it over with a sheet of plastic! So I left it still with its protective film on tucked behind the planner. Out of sight, out of mind, and means I can use it later. The only fault I have with this frame is it is a little flimsy. Whatever light wood/mdf/something that lurks under the (paper?) oak effect finish is very easy to bend and twist due to the size of the frame and the fact it just just an outline. So I found that the longest sides buckled just enough to pop the backing out when picking it up. But that was not a problem once it was attached to the wall where it belongs. Bonus points I can put my dry markers on top of the frame so they are easily available when I need to scribble on the planner. Double bonus points in the claim it is UK made instead of shipping something from the other side of the globe. And finally, triple bonus points for having real product images instead of PhotoShop'ed fakes. All in all, very satisfied with this purchase.

For the size of frame, this is a great value item, and the oak effect honestly looks great and not cheap at all. It was very well packaged in cardboard and polystyrene, and I like that the Perspex window has removable protective film on both sides. I did find the metal holders on the back slightly difficult to lift up, but a knife made quick work of it. The frame was also a little flimsier than expected - when moving it without the carboard backing, I was able to pull it out of shape. That said, for the price I think this is a great value frame that looks good on the wall, and I've since ordered another from this company in a different size.

I have been looking for a 60 x 60 cm square frame for some time, so when I found this one I ordered it straight away. It came very quickly by courier (I had to pay for delivery), and was well packed with extra protection on the corners. It is a good quality Oak "Finish" frame, in other words it is a good quality plastic veneer which looks fine. The mitre joints are clean and sturdy, and the plastic "glass" is clear and comes well protected on both sides (the protective films need to be removed from front and back). The backing is good quality fibre board, held in with flat black push-in pointed spikes. The spikes are fiddly to take out and put back, especially if you need to move them. I was mounting a print with a border which is quite thick, so I had to reposition the spikes; some of them twisted and bent. If I had to do it again I would probably use something like simple panel pins instead. Overall I am happy with the frame.

We bought three of these to put up some posters in our offices. I was a bit concerned that they might look cheap, and wasn’t sure whether the borders were actual wood or simply that plastic wood effect. Well, either they are wood or they look so convincing that I can’t tell. Exactly as described, light oak look, and the front is lightweight plastic which is ideal as it means that the frame isn’t too heavy and is shatterproof (I don’t know why one reviewer says they were disappointed that the front wasn’t glass because a) the description is clear that it is plastic b) never going to happen at this price and c) the glass would break in transit). On the weight side, because it’s so light and we only placed a lightweight poster in each (so a sheet of paper), we managed to hang these without problem using just the smallest self-adhesive hooks from (insert famous DIY store name here). Fitting was easy – the back of the frame has the metal closures around each side that you just twist/prise open using a knife blade to make it easy. Then lift the back out – make sure you read the sticker on the front of the frame at this point: both the front and back of the plastic front have a protective film that needs to be peeled off. Do that before putting your picture in and then seeing it, as I did with the first poster. Then, as an extra tip, take the sheet that comes with the frame and logos on and reverse it, ie flip it over and put it behind whatever you are putting in the frame. That way, if what you have doesn’t exactly fit the frame, you don’t see the back of it, but just a white border from the paper. Put the back on, push the clips back down and then choose between the horizontal or vertical hanging clips on the back. Again, you need a knife blade to make it easy, but prise open the clip so it stands proud enough from the back to catch on the hanging hook and then hang. As I said we chose these for an office and when I bought them, I thought they would just be cheap and functional, but to be honest, these are nice enough and good enough quality to hang at home, should we have the need.

On plus side the frame looked pretty good. The wood effect is quite effective! Arrived well packaged & undamaged. Was disappointed in sturdiness of the frame. Flexes so you have to be careful handling. If you're not thinking & pick the picture up by the frame it bends so the perspex comes out it's slot which is bit annoying. I know it's not real wood but thought it'd be more rigid. Decided not suitable for what I wanted but have kept. Might come in for something in future (& I stupidly got rid of the packaging!) Fine for budget frame (if bit overpriced for this) but might be worth spending more for better quality.

This was my second purchase of a picture frame from Vivarti. The first frame on the left of the picture was purchased in 2019 and as been absoulety fine. So I purchased another. The frame was delivered the next day by DPD in excellent protective packaging. Its extermly easy to frame your picture and hang it on the wall. I'm pleased to support a British made product.

An excellent frame for the price. But dont be fooled into thinking this is poor quality. Its ideal for framing any A2 sized images. The perspex is very clean and clear and I had no problems with dust as other reviewers had. For the money its hard to beat. Lightweight but looks professional (nice oak finish) when hung. Back has two metal grooved hooks. I attached some picture wire to one for easier hanging. I will definitely buy again.

This is Utter Garbage. Made of Very thin cardboard, falls apart easily, twists out of shape when hung. I paid £30 for this as it was kind of mid-Sold as an OAK frame. It’s Paper with oak plastic on it. Very thin profile that can barely hold shape. Do NOT buy this for anything over £10.

Avevo acquistato questa cornice per incorniciare la maglia da calcio della mia squadra del cuore. La cornice, nonostante sia stata danneggiata durante la spedizione ( danno causato quindi dal corriere) non si è mostrata all'altezza del compito. Il "vetro" è un sottile pannello di plexiglass che tende a flettersi facilmente e ho avuto non pochi problemi nel cercare di incorniciare la maglietta visto che, dai bordi interni della cornice, il plexiglass tendeva ad uscire, come se il pannello in sé fosse stato più piccolo rispetto ai bordi interni della cornice. La cornice in legno, inoltre, è arrivata leggermente deformata. Ho chiesto il subito reso ad Amazon.

La cornice è arrivata rotta.

Hierbei handelt es sich um einen billigst hergestellten Artikel, der nicht der Beschreibung in der Produktinformation entspricht. Das Material des Rahmens ist nicht Eiche, bestenfalls wurde ein Aufkleber in der Maserung und Farbe von Eiche über ein anderes Material geklebt. Das Styrol Sicherheitsglas ist auch kein Glas, sondern Plastik, welches zudem noch stark verkratzt war. Ich rate dringendst vom Kauf ab

Le cadre fait le boulot, ce n'est pas du chene massif mais du médium avec une couche imitation chene, mais ça va bien, c'est joli. Avec un poster dans les bleu, bleu marine, avec le cadre chene, c'est magnifique. Je suis ravi.

This came with the wood frame broke in 3 places. We contacted the buyer and are yet to hear from them. Bought it in February. Won't buy again from them.
