NEEWER Overhead Camera Mount Rig with 2 Ball Heads, Super Clamp/Mobile Phone ...

I’ve had my eye on this for a while, and bought it on Prime Day. I now wish I’d bought it earlier even without the discount. Like many, I’ve built up quite a few arms and desk mounted poles to use for my growing home office/studio. Quality and reliability is key for me - I use this set up for work. This frame has replaced 5 other items and it’s a better technical / functional result. The frame itself wobbled a bit - anything that has a single clamp and a horizontal bar (extended to the max) will wobble, so I reused 2 of the vertical poles that I sat my key lights on plus a couple of existing clamps and the wobble has pretty much gone to the extent that my monitor on its original stand wobbled more (I hadn’t considered it an issue. I took a photo to help explain what I did, but to be clear I’m impressed with the quality of the rig. It’s only because I have a camera attached to it and had some spare kit that I did this.

Easy to set up,made of quality materials very versatile. When fitted to table or bench the whole thing is very rigid, and has many accessories you can fit to the rig.all in all well worth the money

Easy to setup and allows me to expand my setup what is not to like about this.

Sturdy and well thought out. Would have liked it to come with one more attachment, but you can buy those.

Product is good for adding various lighting rigs for macro work it is rigid so allows repeatable effects. Its ease of use is far better than the a light chamber where specialist lighting has always been difficult

The Neewer NK002 was worth every penny. It feels well built and it works exactly as I expected it to. Keeping its footprint on my desk to a minimum whilst giving me more filming options on my desk. My only advice is not to clamp anything to the arm/leg-extension too tightly otherwise it will bend the pole (even though to the naked eye it doens't look damaged) and this stop you from extending/retracting the arm/leg. Overall though, I highly recommend the NK002. After using the NK002 for a while, I decided my desk setup would benefit from the extra arm/leg-extension included in the Neewer NK003. Unfortunately I couldn't see this arm/leg for sale individually, so I couldn't just upgrade my NK002 to an NK003. This was a major annoyance, as the extra arm/leg is easily compatible with the NK002 and I didn't want to spend so much extra money on an entire new product when I only needed part of it. To my annoynce I ended up ordering the full NK003 kit because I really wanted that extra arm/leg-extension. However, when the NK003 arrived the extra arm/leg-extension was far too long to fit my desk! even at its minimum length. Usually I'd blame myself for not checking the product dimensions correctly, but looking back at the product photos I can clearly see why I was misled. I thought the arm/leg-extension length was shorter because the main product photo is misleading and makes the arm/leg-extension appear shorter than it actually is. I feel tricked into buying this product. The extension leg's MINIMUM length is 77cm. Most standard desks are not even that deep to begin with! But also, why would you want the desk's side mounted arm/leg-extension to be the same length as the table's main arm/leg-extension? Are we all sitting at a huge sqaure desk? ridiculous design, misleding photos, no upgrade from the NK002. One star. Beware.

Neewer quality as expected. Solid aluminum, smooth adjustments, and the dual ball heads give real flexibility for overhead or side mounts. Two things to check before buying: max desk thickness is about 2.6 inches, and the crossbar may run a bit short on wider desks. My desk was thicker so I had to modify the clamp slightly. Once locked down it is stable and strong. If your desk is under 3 inches thick and the width works, this is an excellent mount.

The desk mounting clamps are huge and reliable. Also the pipes involved look strong. The width and height are adjustable (depend on your table/desk size). For sure, 10kg of equipment will not bend the rig or fall down.
