From hundreds of curriculum-based activities, exercises, and games in every subject to a new technology section, progress map, and stickers, discover the ultimate fourth grade workbook from America Review: These books are so good - A lot of bang for your buck in these. Break's down grammar points simply. Balances easy work (just circling things) with harder tasks (writing out long sentences). My bilingual daughter (9) is currently going through it. Helps to keep her English up to speed. Bought my younger son a BQ book, too. Review: Fantastic Workbook – Engaging, Easy to Use, and Effective! - I absolutely LOVE the Brain Quest Workbook: 4th Grade Revised Edition! I bought this because my kids were spending way too much time on electronics, and I noticed their grades starting to slip. I decided to introduce some workbooks to help them refocus, and out of the three I purchased (including a Social and Emotional Learning workbook and a Creative Writing & Games workbook), this one is by far my favorite! It covers so many wonderful subjects in a way that’s fun and easy to follow. The instructions are clear, which makes it simple for me to go over the material with my child—I honestly feel like a teacher when we work through it together! I also love that there’s an answer key in the back, so I can check her work and give feedback. My daughter really enjoys using this workbook, and I’ve already noticed a huge positive change in her attitude toward learning. She’s more engaged and confident, and I’m hopeful her teachers will see the same improvement soon. If you’re looking for a comprehensive, well-designed workbook that makes learning enjoyable and effective, I highly recommend this one. It’s a great investment in your child’s education!

Engaging, Well-Rounded 4th‑Grade Practice With Parent Support Built In
Purchase context: Picked this up to supplement schoolwork at home and keep practice fun. Using it 3–4 times a week alongside other Spectrum workbooks. Unboxing/setup: Sturdy, colorful workbook with a progress sticker map, sticker sheet, completion certificate, and a mini Smart Card Q&A deck. Layout is kid‑friendly with short, self‑contained pages. Specs verified: Subjects: Vocabulary, language arts, reading, math (word problems, multiplication/division, fractions/decimals, geometry/measurement), social studies, science, plus a technology section (computer science, coding, logic) Alignment: National/state standards; section openers include tips for parents Extras: Progress map with stickers, completion certificate, mini Q&A card deck Format: Mixed activities, games, and exercises; revised illustrations/content to reflect diverse families/experiences Performance & testing: The bite‑size activities keep attention high, and the mix of word problems, reading passages, and skill drills reinforces classroom topics without feeling repetitive. The new tech section adds timely logic/coding practice. Parent notes at the start of sections make it easy to preview concepts and guide help. Comparisons: Compared to straightforward test‑prep books, Brain Quest is more interactive and game‑like, which my child is more willing to do after school. It pairs well with a more formal test‑practice book for assessments. Durability/maintenance: Quality paper stands up to pencil and erasing. Perfect binding is fine if you don’t force it to lie completely flat. Who it’s for: Families seeking engaging practice across all 4th‑grade subjects with built‑in parent guidance Kids who benefit from short, varied tasks and visual layouts Who should skip: Those wanting only test‑format pages; this leans fun/interactive over pure test simulation Tips to get the best results: Use the progress sticker map to set mini‑goals and keep momentum Alternate harder math pages with lighter vocab/science pages to avoid fatigue Keep the mini Smart Card deck in the car or kitchen for quick review bursts Pros: Broad, standards‑aligned coverage with a fun, varied format Helpful parent guidance and clear explanations Motivating extras (stickers, certificate, Q&A cards) Updated, inclusive visuals and real‑world topics Tech/coding logic section adds modern skills Cons: Perfect binding doesn’t lie flat like a spiral Not a substitute for full test‑style practice tests Bottom line: A lively, comprehensive workbook that makes 4th‑grade practice enjoyable while still covering all the essentials—great as a daily companion to classroom learning.
