GUTE Motorcycle Armor Jacket Full Body Armor Men 2XL

This thing rocks! I haven't read the reviews, but anyone dissing on this bad boy is most likely cheap and bitter and has probably had way too easy a life for themselves. We're lucky to to live in an age and society where cool and useful things like this are so easily accessible. This armor is amazing! If you choose the size correctly, it is impossible not to love the way you look in it. You look like a total badass! If you have somebody that likes you, I bet they go crazy about the way you look in this. A word of warning, really treat it with love. You will. It's made of mesh, so wear it and store it with care. Once it's on, you're good to go and you will ride with confidence knowing that you're well protected because you'll FEEL well protected. I'm 6'0", 185 lbs. The XXL fits me like a dream. I run uphill on mountain trails pushing my bike and I feel light and flexible as the wind in this armor. If you're on the fence at all, don't mess around. Get it!

This thing has totally protected me going down off road on two separate occasions. The hard shells in the elbow, fore arm and shoulders are so necessary. Once you get the fitment right and you are out riding, you won’t feel restricted in the ways you need to move on the bike. Tightening straps and thumb holes are really worth it. My Buddy went down with his high tech soft $300 leatt jersey and it was useless. The moment he hit the ground the sleeves went up his arm and he completely jacked his elbow up. I’ve been down fairly hard twice and just brushed the dirt off, caught my breath and got back on the bike. My only complaint is that I’ma bigger guy and the Velcro on the large waist belt doesn’t stay connected always, especially when I’m riding hard. But under my jersey it didn’t bug me much.

I got this primarily as trail riding armor. Something to help keep me from getting messed up too bad by unexpected encounters with rocks, trees, my bike, etc. I've gone down on my elbows and back with it on and have walked away none the wiser. Nothing too insane, but enough to where I've been glad to have it on. Mine has held up for the back half of the riding season this year. I've taken it on mostly double track with some single track here or there. I'm size L for most shirts, so the 2XL fits me pretty well. All of the straps adjust pretty easily and keep the pads in place where they belong. The build quality feels good enough but I can see how wear and tear is going to get to it sooner or later. The zipper seems like a major weak point, it's kind of one of those cheapo mini-zippers. Everyone looking at this knows that name brand moto gear is absurdly expensive. I'd say this is worthwhile over some of the big brand Batman under-suits for upper body dirt biking armor. I definitely don't think this is on par with a proper moto jacket for street riding, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't use it on the street to get to the trail on my dual sport. Better than nothing, and better than jacking with stowing a street jacket on my bike when I get to the trail. Just know that this isn't really about abrasion protection from high speed slides; it's about protecting you from busting yourself up when you meet hard objects on the trail or when you get roosted by your buddy. Edit 8/16/2026: Knocking this down to 4 stars. I bought this in late '25, now we're a good ways through the 2026 dirt riding season. One of the shoulder-to-chest plate straps has ripped out of the chest plate. That's not due to me going on some crazy tumble down the side of a hill, that's just regular wear and tear. It's still a good value and decent basic-tier protection, but since I'm already starting to think of upgrading it now that it's wearing out. Feeling the slightest bit of "Buy once, cry once." regret for not having gotten something a bit more premium, but it's still holding me over until I decide to throw down on a more serious armor jacket.

Gone dirt biking off road and fell over many times from the difficult terrain while learning. Didn’t feel a thing anywhere I was covered with this. Fell over big rocks, sand and dirt. Felt like I was wearing a suit of armor. It’s comfortable and light and is breathable so I dont get too hot. Only complaint i would say is sometimes the strap that goes around your thumb gets tight from the sleeve trying to ride up. But it’s necessary and keeps the elbow pads in place which helps. Also helps with feeling more confident while riding.

Pretty decent little piece of gear for the price. I bought this specifically for the arm, shoulder, and light back protection. It’s super convenient that it’s all tied together in a jacket style setup. It makes it really easy to put on and take off when you need to. Each piece of armor has straps that allow you to adjust it to your body. That being said, I got this specifically for low speed work on streets. This would not hold up for higher speeds considering the armor is just plastic. I don’t know how this would hold up for motocross since that’s not my forte.

I bought this for riding my onewheel, and for that purpose its great. The material feels really cheap, the zipper barely works, and I'm sure after 1 fall something is going to completely rip. The great thing though is that the plastic pieces are actual hard plastic, so the protection is there. I am 5'9 170lbs and I bought a xxl an it fits just right. It almost feels like this a product for children being advertised for adults. I must repeat, DO NOT BUY THIS FOR RIDING MOTORCYCLES! I have over 60,000 miles on my current bike, and I can tell you right now, this will never protect you from a fall off a motorcycle. If you where to fall at anything past 25 miles an hour, this thing will disintegrate, along with your skin. There is no way this thing should be advertised as motorcycle protection, and it will lead people to injuries in the future when they think they are safe. But if you are looking to get this for longboarding or riding a onewheel, then its a great cheap option. SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY AND GET AN ACTUAL JACKET FOR YOU MOTORYCLE. Your skin, family and friends will thank you.

After reading some of the less happy reviews, I was very cautious when I first tried it on. Yes, the mesh and zipper are light weight and I have been careful taking it on and off. I have yet to damage the jacket. I purposely waited to write the review until I had ridden with it. After several rides, 100+ miles, I am very happy with it. I do find myself sweating more but, surprisingly it has very good air flow even with a t-shirt over it. I don't feel impervious to danger but, with these hard pads I know that if I go down again they will take some of the abuse instead of my old body. Not sure how it will be once the temperatures get over 100 degrees this summer, only time will tell. I might have to take off the back plate. For the price and weight, this is excellent for mtb in the dirt.

I'm a 5'7" Man, I weigh 130lbs. (1.7m, 60kg) The XL size fits me really nicely, since they have all these individual straps you can use to tighten down each pad. I feel a lot safer with this on while riding my electric unicycle. The only thing that doesn't fit is the belly strap, it's a little too loose for my weight. However because the arms and chest can be sinched down so tight, it doesn't really matter. It's quick to put on too. The only real downside is that it can be uncomfortable to do other daily tasks in it, and I get hot in it easily when I'm not actively riding. All things considered tho is great armor for the price. I recommend it.

I had a similar one for montain bike kit that was too small, zipper was jammed up and it lasted 2 year and couple fall in the forest. This one a bit more expensive, and the size is spot on im 215 pound 5' 10" the XXL is perfect. The back protector is a most i falled one time the back against a tree a felt nothing. Love that armor. NOT for motorcycle tho asphalt would rip appart that thing in no time.

Great product eventhough just a lil overpriced

Not bad for the price and some protection is better than none, there are some out there with stronger pads but you will pay for the difference for sure. The only issue with this jacket is as a girl you get really weird looks until you pop your helmet off LOL I found it to be warm, too warm during the summer but the liner zips out so that does help. It might be over kill for zipping around on my Apollo Scooter but if I face plant and skid I would rather be wearing this than nothing at all!
