Does this make pebble ice or is that just part of their name ?

No pebble ice I’m very disappointed ice is very soft easy melt. Ice don’t last long before it becomes water inside the ice machine.

how does it drain? is there an integral pump?

It is a gravity flow drain. It has no pump. It is a great ice maker and the ice last a long time. I was not sure if it work where I have it as it is over 100 degrees but it works fine. Make sure you connect the drain hose and run it in a drain or outside. I hope this helps you. Thanks. Ed Starkis

How high of a temperature will it go to before any shut off?

My machine did not work on delivery and I was not reimbursed as promised for return shipping

How do you turn off timer? I don’t want it to turn off ever!

Unfortunately, I have found no way to turn off the timer. I've even considered taking it in to see if an electrician can remove that function.
