For me these were relatively easy to put on using the 'sock' that came with the socks, even though I am unable to move four of my toes which causes my foot to twist when I try putting anything on it. I use these socks during the day and find them comfortable, the open toe works well for me and I am able to wear the only shoes I can at the moment which are a flip flop type. I also put a sock over the top when I am in doors and unlike others, I do not find that the open toe part of the sock rides up. I only use the one sock at a time due to my other leg not needing the help of a compression sock, I will order the closed toe version of these socks for when I move to a proper shoe. For anyone that is in the unfortunate position to need these socks for what ever reason, I would definitely recommend, money well spent and helps protect the leg/foot from uncomfortable oedema.
