What is the difference between this a regular rubik's cube?

The customization on how it turns and you can set it up with different strength magnets I think. The magnets help complete turns more accurately. This is also a speed cube so much faster than a regular Rubiks cube. You may also have to maintain it with adding specific oil to keep it turning smoothly. Hope that helps.

The instructions reference a tool to use to change out the ges pieces but no tool came with the product. what are you supposed to use to swap the ges?

Just push it down with your fingers and rotate it until the cutouts line up with the retaining bar on the stem and then lift it off. If it’s stuck you can pinch the edge pieces and pull the whole layer up a little to get it started. Be careful pulling the layer up as it may slip all the way off and the pieces may fly apart (easy to fix though).

A magnetic 356m gan cube with ges is that you can swap different tension after opening the center caps. The lite version does not have extra GES.You get just the cube in the lite version. The lite doesn’t come with extra tension springs
