I purchased this as the next step in my pup's leash training after gaining confidence and good behavior with a 6 foot leash. The leash is made of strong materials and has held up great, with only minor fraying after daily use for several months; even after letting the leash drag on concrete, rocks, and sustain minor chewing. I like the locking mechanism on the hook and gives the peace of mind that it will remain attached (even though the hooking mechanism is strong enough without locking). The leash is also springy so if your dog does become reactive, a yank won't be as hard on them compared to a leather leash. The color is easy to spot in grass, allowing others at the park know your dog is not loose. I did find initially that the length was a little unyielding and required me to use both hands to reel in the excess leash and to prevent the leash from constantly going between my dog's legs or tripping on it. However with time I learned how to handle this length leash. I also found that tying a knot at roughly 4 feet and 10 feet allowed for easy hand grabs when needing to pass others (4 ft) or for quickly stopping the dog's chase/charge (10 ft). I would recommend this leash to someone who is looking for an longer leash to start recall training, provide their dog with more exploration space, or looking for a new leash to use on their adventures!

I bought 2 orange 15 foot leashes. Very comfortable and strong for my 2 50 lb dogs. I especially like the comfort of the cushioned black handles. The clip gives me assurance that the leash will remain hooked on their harnesses.

We have a “teenage” bullmastiff - the 15’ rope that has a bit of stretch (not much but enough) is awesome for training him; keeping the leash loose but having the ability to wrap it up if I need him to focus more. The handle is soft and it has a great clip that stays clipped. He loves the ability to chase grasshoppers (without me dragging behind him). I have a couple and will get another so I can trade out the house one and put it in the car for those special opportunities for him. It does have reflective tape woven through the material so it can be seen easily in the evening. Not necessarily chew “resistant” because he likes to help “walk us proudly home”’after our walks so I tied several knots so he has something to “grab” onto.

Good leash. Nice padded handle. Walking my 30 lb whippet is no problem. After a few seasons, the pin in the hook hinge is backing out. Don’t trust anymore. I am going to order another. Good quality for price.

Great quality. Strong line with a sturdy and secure clip for fastening to the dog’s collar, and a comfortable handgrip at the other end. When I first started using the long line, it was frustrating because it would get wrapped around my dog’s leg and/or get tangled. I’ve learned the solution to this is to keep the line somewhat taught—so it doesn’t drop to the ground--by letting it out and bringing it in as necessary. My dog loves the long line because she can go sniffing around. She actually walks better with it than on a leash. I bought the long line for recall training (“Come command”). It’s great for that. I let her go out a bit and then if she doesn’t come, she gets a little tug. This lead is very well made. The clip on the end is very secure; I feel sure it can’t pull off the collar. (There is a threaded barrel so you could lock the clip in place. You can see the barrel in the photo near my fingernail. Overkill, I think. To me the barrel was a nuisance, so I glued the barrel to the threads so it stays out of the way.) It helps to wear a glove so that when the lead is not fully extended, you can grab it without ripping up your hand if your dog suddenly pulls.

I have been tasked with the care of a very strong Lab for a week while my husband is fishing in Canada. He responds well to my husband but not me! I refuse to spend 2 hours chasing him around the neighborhood and ordered this lead for this trip. It’s perfect. It’s lightweight in spite of its heavy duty construction, the hook is very sturdy and the padded handle is the real deal! Awesome. I absolutely love it. I might make it through the week without a trip to urgent care with 2 broken fingers like last year.

I got what i expected and my 1.5 year old 35kg american akita stil hasnt managed to break it or even tear it. Still looks like new. I like it most for its lenght and weight, and it fits firm in the hand, thiner ropes realy cut in to the hand, this one does not, it can only sting a bit if the dog runs and you get the rope through you palm... I am very satisfied overall. Will get more 😊

Heavy duty - our retriever man pup chews everything. He has very poor recall and this has been great to hive him extra space whilst being trained.

I ordered two of these for my dogs. They are really comfortable to hold and feel sturdy. They don’t get knotted and stay light when wet from being dragged through puddles and wet grass. The carry bags are really handy and I reel the leads up at the end of a walk and store them in the bag. I leave the handle out of the bag and that stays dry even if the leads are wet. Great buy and really pleased.

These are great!! The quality is really good. Well made. Love that little bit of stretch in the heavy duty cording. The length is perfect for our little pullers. BUT....on two occasions the locking mechanism has opened with movement of the dogs. They got loose!!! Scared the crap out of us... for something we thought was safe. Everyone is OK, but we are checking and rechecking these locks whenever they are being used. Shouldn't be that way. I bought them partly because of this feature. I should be asking for my money back, but I will look for a piece of hardware that will double hook the leash to their harnesses.

I have bought 2 of these leads ( one for my wifes car and one for mine)for my border collie who pulls a lot at times. I am very impressed at how strong the latch is that secures onto the harness.it is very secure and sturdy and feel safe walking my dog. I would highly recommend it.
