Does this pole work when you have a handle on velux

Hi, This pole is only for use with skylight windows which have a handle bar as shown in the product photos. It won't work with windows which have a handle. Kind regards, Damian Dealtech Ltd

Can anyone confirm if this operates velux blinds correctly as well as opening the window?

YES, it opens, closes the skylights/Velux windows as well as the blinds. Can say also it is simple to use- for opening stand NOT underneath the window but with the pole at an angle and for closing/locking stand directly underneath- it is explained in the instructions anyway. Same applies to the blinds. I have the 2M one and it is fine for my quite hugh windows so check if you can if this is OK or get the 3M one.Fast delivery, easy to use and should last a good time. I thoroughly recommend it for windows and blinds- works perfectly and secures the windows shut and locked with a single push- u will not be dissapointed.

Hello what is the maximum length it can extend, to open & close a velux skylight window?

The pole extends to just over 2 metres. If it helps, I am 1.83m tall and reaching up can use the pole to close/ open my window which is 3.20m from floor level!

My windows shut ( me on a chair)without pole just fine--but for the life of me this pole won't shift windows open or shut them-what am I doing wrong

You need to give the velux window bar a very firm shove with the pole attached with you stood at a 45 degree angle. So your stood looking up and forward towards the window, and not stood directly under the window .There should have been instructions with the pole. So a very firm shove is the key
