I don't have to wear them, but at night, they help a lot when I'm driving. So I wanted to have the on my person, but not in a pocket (could get crushed) nor having to hold a case in my hands everywhere I went. So I put this case on my belt. It was working great until one time when I get into my car, the case snagged on the seat-belt connector and broke the belt loop. If the case had been leather (or even a faux leather), I have a feeling it would not have broke. At least it protected the glasses when they fell. UPDATE: I gave this seller another star for refunding my purchase, even though I did not ask them to do so.
