Awesome but be patient
Game changer for my floor it's perfectly designed to give you a perfect 2 foot swath of mud. Just set it where you plan to start and scoop mud in front of it sort of evenly spaced. You can throw a surprising amount of mud in front of it and have Long rows but you better have a helper if you want to do big areas as it's not great to let the mud sit and dry out. Alone i found the best way is to go 6 or 8 feet at a time, let it sit right where it is, lay your tile almost to it then shovel more mud and away you go but easiest is how I described. Biggest risk here is your mud drying out quick if you get to greedy. Cleans up easy if you keep it in mud most of the time and go slow it won't dry on it at all but if you set it there dry for 45 minutes while you try to catch up to your self it will be harder to clean. It's a great tool worth double the money on 1 project alone. Sturdy lifetime tool here.

Quick work
I recently made use of this trowel during my bathroom retiling project. The tool was very easy to use, and the size made it easy to evenly lay out the thinset for the large tiles. The handle portion as well as the notched portion was very solid and worked great. Clean up was easy as well since everything is made of aluminum or stainless steel.
