Get the warranty, sometimes the fans go out. Still they have great size trays and are cheaper and hold more than comparable brands

Questionable QC, Good Customer Service
I figured a dehydrator advertised to dry mushrooms would be able to handle the runtime required to...dry mushrooms, but I guess I was wrong. I have run this unit 4 times for approximately 6-8 hours each time so a total of 24-32 hours. I plugged it in to dry a fresh batch of shiitakes today and am extremely disappointed to find it no longer produces an air current (broken fan?) and has melted itself. Extremely disappointing. UPDATE: Reached out to Seller and the offered to replace the base for me no questions asked, I really appreciate this level of customer service in a time when it seems like a rarity. Hopefully this one lasts longer, will report back. Updated Review to 4 stars in the meantime.

Don’t buy - heater will break
Heating element completely stopped working after only 3 uses at about 30 hours. It’s pretty loud but not terrible but the quality of the electronic components clearly are sub standard since it barely can do its job thrice
