Love this meter!
When my Klein clamp style meter kicked the bucket & almost cost me possible injury showing no voltage when there actually was, I picked this up to replace it.I like it’s simplicity, slim form factor & the ability to stow away the leads within the meter’s shell on the back. I do wish the amp opening was larger, but I do more residential & light commercial now so having the big clamp isn’t as much of a necessity. Kind of reminds me of when I switched to an iPhone. Simple, not overloaded with bloat and does what it does very, very well.

Works great as long as the test leads are seated all the way in!
I'm a service electrician and this meter is great for getting voltage readings without having to take off wire nuts or having to place test leads on a hot wire. My son also bought one. Just remember to seat test leads all the way in when using field sense

Kind of like my old T5-600 Better
First off, the reviewers claiming you’re going to get shocked by this should not be using any meter or messing with electrical at all, their claims are absolutely ridiculous. Onto my actual review...I use this 100’s of times a day, every single day so I’ve had plenty of time to get to know it on every thing from 3 volts to 480 3 phase. The field sense voltage reading was the key selling point to me, oddly after use I found it to be a worthless feature. I just use my Fluke 1AC-A II VoltAlert more effectively. In fairness I suppose someone might use it, in my work I just need to know if any voltage is there or not or I need to read the combined voltage of more than one point, voltage on a single wire isn’t telling me much. Its also not exactly accurate, when used it may tell me 139VAC on a wire and when using the probes I actually get a reading on that same wire of 119VAC. If you’re checking a 208VAC piece of equipment it does not show you 208V present, it still only shows you the single wire voltage of 120VAC. If they could have made this so I could field sense the full 208VAC on say a heating element wire this feature would be a game changer, but since it doesn’t its useless to me at least.I’ve used my older T5-600 for so many years that carrying it in my back pocket feels like a natural part of my own body, the new T6-600 is a little thicker body and took some getting use to, the plastic itself doesn’t feel as sturdy as the older T5-600 which stood up to years of abuse and ladder drops. The new one hasn’t broke, but it just doesn’t have the same durable feel in your hand. The Amperage field reading works great just like the older T5-600 always did and I probably would have sent this back and just kept using my tried and true T5-600 had it not been for the lighted display on this new T6-600, that was a much needed feature the T5-600 was badly lacking. My conclusion is if the older T5-600 had a lighted display I’d say you had a hands down winner on which one to buy, the T5-600. The field sense feature of the new T6-600 is clearly a not very useful gimmick unless they can get it to read actual voltages on a single wire of 208, 240 and 480VAC. I really could have used this feature to tell when a thermostat on a 208VAC heating element circuit is cycling on/off without having to remove wire nuts, as it is now its a worthless gimmick feature.

Super convenient
This meter is super convenient for working on home electrical. Less settings than more traditional meters, but has all the ones you need unlike completely automatic ones. The design gets rid of the need for 3 hands that traditional meters usually have. The lead clips in reliably and the narrow body doesn't get in the way as much when using it that way. The amp clamp is great too. The leads are specifically designed with flat tips instead of the traditional round ones to fit into outlets and connectors, but still be sturdy enough unlike needle tips.
