I bought these shoes for a month-long trip in Japan. I knew I was going to be doing a lot of walking and hiking and that I needed something that would be closed - to keep my feet clean - and be easy to take off and put on quickly, because in Japan you are expected to take your shoes off inside peoples' homes and in many temples. They fulfilled their purpose mightily! They were comfortable and fit perfectly right out of the box, and only got better over time. I wore them nearly all day, every day, for a month straight, while climbing ancient stone stairs and traversing wild, winding subway stations and izakaya-filled alleyways. Maybe once or twice in that whole time did my feet become painfully tired. They are easy to take off and put back on, removing any chance for awkwardness when entering or exiting homes and temples. There were a couple of times that they got thoroughly drenched, and they dried very quickly. The color (grey heather) is neutral enough that they go with everything, but interesting enough that they don't look completely boring. Only at the very end of the month did they start to smell like feet. I plan to give them a wash now that I'm back home in the States; I'll edit my review to give an idea of how they hold up in the wash. These are my new favorite walking shoes! EDIT: These shoes went through the wash just fine (don't put shoes in the dryer), and have continued being my go-to walking shoes. I've had them for two years now, wearing them often, and have only just worn a hole in the innermost lining. The outside still looks immaculate, they're still super comfy, and just, great shoes.

I have a herniated disc in my back and was looking for shoes I can put on myself. With a long shoe horn, these shoes fit the bill. At first glance I thought they were cute. They dont look like little old lady shoes. They are true to size but I need a wide toe box and a narrow heel; these fit but I got blisters on my little toes the first few times wearing them. After a week I think the toe box stretched a bit because they fit now (no socks);not as much toe box room as I'd like, but sufficient for a mile walk. The cushioning is phenomenal. I walk on my gravel driveway and it feels like walking on a cloud. I am really happy with this purchase. Highly recommended, esp. for those that don't need a wide toebox!

Love sketcher shoes, and this is my favorite style. It comes up higher on the throat (upper top) with the sweater type material stretching well over my high arches without rubbing or gapping. This may be very slightly narrower then the lower throat original style. The heel is perfect- comes up higher keeping on the foot better, and most of all perfect for my long standing Achilles Tendonitis with it’s softer, snug feel. They look good from shorts to a dress. The only con-and the con with all sketcher shoes-for the price the memory foam sole wears out faster, and the bottom sole wears out too fast. You hate to wear any other shoes (even when a must for wedding) because they so spoil you. I wear a 9 in Merrill, Clark, Born and other brands, and tried ordering a 9 to wear with socks, but that was still too big. They are best worn without socks.

I generally love Sketchers shoes. I have several from their Walk Fit line and a few of the Super Sock shoes. I have always worn a size 6 in Sketchers. I ordered these in my usual size 6 and they are too small. The length is fine but they feel tight and narrow especially in the toe area. I have wide feet which has never been an issue with any of my other Sketchers I do not like the material featured on the main part of the shoe. Its highly textured and the shoe is unlined. The fabric feels tight and scratchy on bare feet. It feels and looks like upholstery fabric. There is very little "stretch" to the fabric. I didn't feel it would stretch out enough over time to be comfortable. The fabric is unlined so the shape of your foot can be seen while wearing. If you have corns or bunions their outline can be seen. On the plus side they are very cushy and shock absorbing. I had the Charcoal color and the sole was light grey. I'm returning these to Amazon. Overall, I feel these run on the narrow side.

I was offered these shoes in Vine but they were not the correct size, so I bought a pair as I needed a new pair of shoes that I could just slip on and wear to get the mail, take out the trash, etc. These are very comfortable & are pretty true to size. These can be worn over bare feet and they fit perfectly. I prefer to wear socks most if the time, so they are slightly more snug that way. These would make good house shoes for those with hardwood floors. These are nice to walk in, but I would avoid wearing them in wet weather, as the mesh material will not protect your feet or socks. These shoes definitely offer better support than moccasins or ballet shoes. Although I only wear mine at home, they are fine for walking in any dry area. These are especially good for walking on concrete or hard surfaces. I took one star off because I am not sure they are worth the near $70 I paid for them. Overall, they are nice and comfortable.

Worked Austin City Limits music festival for three days straight standing on concrete. I was wearing my normal Puma tennis shoes and I've never experienced heel and foot pain like that before. I had some old sketchers with the memory foam that I used on the last day of the first weekend and it was a life changer. I bought these shoes for the second weekend of ACL and LOVE THEM! Everyone working with me asked where I got them because they were not as ugly as the normal comfy shoes. They are simple, all black with white bottoms, no logos/labels, and they are OH SO SOFT! I am headed to NYC in a few weeks and I think these will be the perfect shoes to take with me so I can walk everywhere without hurting! I think you could get away with going sockless but I chose not to because I dont want the slinkiness. Black no show socks are barely noticable. I highly recommend this shoe if you have to stand all day.

I have worn these shoes for a few days now and I really love them! They are very comfortable and stylish! I find them true to size. I normally wear a 7 1/2 or 8 and ordered these in a size 8 and they fit perfectly. Because of the low cut in the back of the shoe, I would recommend wearing a low cut sock or no socks (which I don’t do since my feet are always cold. Definitely a great pair of shoes! UPDATE: I loved this shoe so much that I decided to order another pair in a different color. I purchased the white/black and although it is still comfortable, it does have noticeably less arch support than my other pair. I can feel and actually see the difference. I will still keep the shoes, but I know this was mentioned by a few others that purchased these, so just something to be aware of.

My job requires me to stand in one place for long periods of time and the pain in my feet gets to be excruciating. I have tried so many different shoes and inserts with little to no relief. These shoes are the first pair that I have found that give me the most relief from my foot pain. They are light and the material allows air flow which I love because my feet tend to get too hot. Excellent design and very comfortable. I will certainly buy them again and hope they will always be available.

Elles sont magnifiques mais effectivement un peu grandes ! Je ne les échange pas car il y a une trop grande différence de prix entre ma pointure et celle d’en dessous, donc je vais surement les offrir !

Come le altre skechers che ho acquistato, anche queste risultano davvero comode sia per passeggiate che per ore in piedi al lavoro. Ordinato un 38, è leggermente più lungo ma non lo cambierei per un 37.

Delighted with these. Nice fit - and they do *fit*, no rubbing or chafing. The upper is long, so if you have a very high instep this might be a problem, but for me they are perfect. I like the colour combination - goes well with light summer clothes or jeans. Extremely comfortable, light, cool and easy to wear.

This is one of the best shoes ever. Super nicely cushioned, well fitted with my feet and nice colour. Easy to on and off. Perfect for casual and indoor exercise shoes as well. Highly recommended.
