Great Way to Relax Tired Feet After a Long Day
I’ve been using this foot spa for a little while now, and it’s become part of my evening routine when my feet are feeling tired. The bubbles add a nice relaxing touch, and I like that I can turn it on and off with the toe-touch control instead of having to bend down. The size works well for my feet, and it’s lightweight enough to move around and store when I’m done. The massage features aren’t as intense as a professional foot massage, but they do provide a gentle, soothing experience that’s perfect for winding down. One thing to keep in mind is that it works best when you start with warm water since it’s designed to help maintain the water temperature rather than heat it from cold. It’s a great option if you want an affordable, easy-to-use foot spa that makes it easier to unwind after a long day on your feet.

I Love This
I seriously thought about calling a nail spa and asking what they would charge to let me just sit in a chair and soak my feet in bubbling water. No pedicure. Pedicure is $40, which includes maybe a 6-minute foot soak. Business is slow, especially Monday through Thursday, so maybe they'd rent me the chair and bubbly soak for $15 or $20. Once. So I decided to see what was available to own. To use as often as I wish. This is it. My own foot spa with bubbles. I love it! The only fault I can find with it is it's a tad noisy. But as I sat relaxed I soon thought of it as white noise, something I could meditate to and thus let my spirit dance right along with my happy feet. For the cost of 1 and a half nail salon chair rentals I now have my own footspa. It is everything I'd hoped it would be. Using it in the evening before bed, I discovered when my feet are happy, I sleep better. The instruction booklet is useful and informative. It says not recommended for diabetics. I am diabetic. I think that's a clause for insurance purposes, as it is possible for someone with advanced diabetes to have no sensation in their toes or feet. They could start with water that is too hot. They could have ulcers or blisters on their feet that need to be treated medically. Also, as per instruction booklet, the footbath will not heat cold water. I find that filling with warm, nearly hot water to the fill line, putting my feet in and turning it on, the water retains the warmth for 10 to 15 minutes. Possibly longer, but I found that a 10-minute bubbling soak does wonders for my feet. Lastly, booklet says do not put any additives in the water. Possibly something might clog the jets. But I put in a splash of white vinegar, on recommendation by my podiatrist. If anything, I'd think it would keep the jets clean and humming.

My dad loves it
I bought this for my dad who has deformed feet with several partial toe amputations, which makes it difficult to clean his feet around and between his toes. He thought it was a waste when I bought it and did not expect to like it at all. He ended up loving it! We were able to get his entire feet completely clean and wonderful feeling. He has larger feet, size 13 D, and one is deformed making it very large around the instep and arch. (Charcot joint in case that helps anyone decided if they can use this or not.) We were able to fit this foot in the spa with no trouble. The edge of the top where the controls are could be risky for diabetic feet and must be carefully avoided, but this is not difficult to do as long as you take your time putting your feet in and taking them out. Some reviews have complained about the lack of temperature control. This is the lower end Homedics foot spa, so there is no temperature control. The temperature must be set and maintained by adding the temperature of water you want. If a temperature control feature is important to you, it will require a step up in the product line. I assume that the higher end product lines will also produce more bubbles. The bubbles were very adequate for us and I was actually surprised at the amount of bubbles. I did find that if you put anything in the water, such as soap or soak granules the bubbles decrease. It seems this is likely due to obstruction of the holes that releases the air to produce the bubbles. I had to take a little extra time to clean these out after I used liquid soap as a soak. It was not very loud but we had a small area rug and then we placed a towel under it. The cats weren't even afraid of it after a few minutes. We're both extremely satisfied and surprised by this spa. This review is for: HoMedics Bubble Mate Foot Spa, Toe Touch Controlled Foot Bath with Invigorating Bubbles and Spas..

Great price
This product was nice for the price, it does not come with a heating temperature but the bubbles kinda keep the heat last longer so it was okay.

Decent Budget Foot Spa!
This is a decent foot spa for someone who just wants to simply soak their feet and feel pampered for as cheap as possible. Unfortunately this fell short on two promises from my experience - 1. The "Heatkeep Technology" is not a real thing or it just works poorly. I used scalding hot water from my sink to and within 15 minutes (I timed it), the water was completely cooled off and cold. 2. The jets/ bubbles seem to be more for a relaxing aesthetic and not for function. You don't feel the jets under your feet and while the bubbles are making sound, you don't physically feel them against your feet. The noise level is mostly tolerable. A protip is to buy a water resistant bath rug to place under it for two reasons: there is a thin lip on the back of the tub by your ankles - when you're trying to rub your feet back and forth on the massage nodules, water will go over the lip and spill onto the rug or floor. The fill line is faintly embossed on the right side and I made sure to keep it at the line. The second reason is the spa is a little loud when trying to watch tv and use it. The bath rug will help muffle the sound better than the hard floor. All in all, this isn't a bad product for someone looking to treat themselves on a tight budget. I am just searching for a foot spa that will keep the water warm and has jets that will help my chronic foot pain. Hope this helps!

Best Kept Secret For RLS Relief?
I had purchased an almost $200 foot spa prior to this one with all the bells and whistles and it was the most uncomfortable experience and did not have the vigorous bubble therapy I really wanted. I returned it and purchased this for $16. It's extremely comfortable to use while sitting on the couch, no cutting into my calves, even when I relax my legs. It doesn't have any automatic rollers or shiatsu massagers or a remote control (which would be awesome and I'd pay for it). The little nubs are basically useless to me. And it's pretty noisy, but I don't mind the noise. I used to LOVE and enjoy pedicures, but I now have a horrible case of restless leg syndrome (usually at bedtime) and planter faschitis in one foot that makes pedicures more painful than pleasurable. I read that using a home foot spa (among other things) might help. I have been using this in the evenings right before bed, adding magnesium bath salts to it as well as essential oils (for a pleasant olfactory experience). I use the pumice stone plus a callus remover weekly and then slather my feet and calves in magnesium lotion. While not a cure for my issues, it certainly helps me relax before bed and the foot and calf massages with the magnesium lotion aid me in falling asleep faster than if I didn't use them, which is a miracle in itself (you know what I mean if you have RLS). I put a half full 5qt pot of water on the stove until just before boiling to pour into the spa, adding another 1/4 of the pot full of cold water. It holds heat for almost the entire time I use it (about 30 mins). Clean up is easy: dump it out and spray an all purpose cleaner over it and rinse. I let it dry in my tub overnight. The bubble therapy is exceptional, but you can't cover the holes. Make sure to lay down a towel, it's a bit messy. Don't waste your money on something else. This is the best thing I currently have in my arsenal for RLS and foot pain relief (in conjunction with medication).

Excelente producto

Relaxing and Convenient Foot Spa Experience
The HoMedics Bubble Mate Foot Spa has quickly become one of my favorite ways to unwind after a long day. The toe-touch control is a fantastic feature! The bubbles create a gentle yet invigorating massage that helps relieve tension in my feet, and the added heat feature keeps the water warm throughout the entire soak. I also love that the foot spa is lightweight, making it easy to move around and set up wherever I need it. If you’re looking for a simple yet effective way to treat your feet to some relaxation, I highly recommend the HoMedics Bubble Mate Foot Spa.

Battery over heating
I found after a few minutes of the bubble being on, there was an electrical smell, like the battery was over heating. This was kind of disappointing as I would have liked to keep the bubble on longer. Other wise the size and the depth is good, and I like that it is light to carry.

Just what I need to relax my feet
might be a bit noisy but compared to expensive ones I have owned in the past this is great. It bubbles, has an attachment for calluses. Just the right price (under 30) wow. Very pleased.
