It's more expensive than the low cost 2D scanners, but it definitely scans faster. It works well and appears to be very rugged. Great price on Amazon for a name brand scanner.

Doesn't work with my clover station

I bought 30 of these in January through my company. These were a replacement order for another order of Zebra guns through Amazon that came in labeled "For use in China only." I was able to return them to Amazon and then purchased these. I held onto them for over a month while I waited on an IT project to complete before we could start to implement them. When I went to use one, I had an issue with it so I tried to update the firmware on it. Zebra's utility did not recognize the scan gun. I worked with Zebra's tech support only to find that these guns were not made by Zebra. As another reviewer stated, the boxes are labeled that they were made in China. There is a fake SN label over the box labels. Using another utility per Zebra tech support, one can see that they had Honeywell made guts. This is the second, and last time I buy try to buy Zebra products through Amazon. I have the balance sitting in a box unopened, but will be stuck with them since I had waited to deploy them.

This would not go into programming mode. Nor would it reset to factory defaults by scanning the programming barcodes. I have suspicion that this is a knock off and not a true Zebra device.

Unlike a number of cheap scanner knockoffs, this scanner actually works well. My personal quality test is whether or not the scanner will decode the PDF417 code that you see on the back side of a North American driver's license. This one decodes it every time, most others won't.

This is our second purchase for our office and works really well :-)

Great product. Super fast scanning and sturdy body. A bit expensive but it is worth it. I have been using Zebra scanners for more than a decade and they are still working perfectly. This is my first QR 2D scanner and it works smoothly. Don't think about the price as it is totally worth it compared to any other scanner in the market.
