My son got a red ear slider (turtle ) and this had worked out perfect for him he climbs and slides and has only escaped once or twice 🤣.

My baby turtle was able to get out and now we can’t find him.

Everything is as portray in the description and pictures. I would only recommend that you do not install the light on the plexiglass as it is too close for the turtles and capture zone is not maximized. Everything else is pretty good for our baby yellow belly turtles.

Update: the seller reached out to offer a replacement or partial refund, so I’m pleased with the customer service and the way they stand behind their product.It’s really cute and my turtle hatchlings are enjoying it, but the filter stopped running after just two weeks. I don’t want to kick the turtles out of their new home and send it back, so I guess we just have to buy a new filter.

The filter is not strong enough for 2 baby turtles but outside of that, I thought this was perfect for my baby turtles until I noticed rusting on the UVB light a little over 30 days from purchase of course so can’t return it.

The media could not be loaded. I use this enclosure for a baby painted turtle hatchling. Size, depth and filtration was perfect for a baby turtle. Lightweight and easy to change water when necessary.
