I bought it to cut glass bottles, worked fine

Very good quality item for the money it does bring alot of bang for your buck. I would recommend these to anyone.

worked better than planed . cut tile easily

I needed to reduce the diameter of a 1/4-in. "dremel style" sanding mandrel, to allow the sanding drum to slip on or off easily. The mandrel on hand was of a very hard material, maybe silicone carbide. These diamond coated cutoff wheels appeared to be the right size and abrasiveness for the task. The price was very reasonable for 10 mounted wheels. And of course they arrived promptly via the Prime truck. With the mandrel mounted on my drill press, the first disc, spun by a dremel tool, managed to trim down the mandrel to size, but in the process the abrasive diamonds around the edge were scraped off the wheel. Not a big problem, since there are nine more wheels in the bag, but I wish there was a stronger way to bond the diamond grit so that it stays put. What's worse, there isn't enough abrasive on the outer edge of the wheel to use as a cutoff tool for really hard materials.

They look like they will reduce heat during cutting due to the holes in them. I have not had the chance to try them yet.
