## Questions & Answers

**Q: Why is the Ghee Pot not tin-coated?**
A: Usually, brass is coated with tin to prevent any toxic reactions. However, if we keep ghee in a tin-coated product, it shall turn unusable within a week. It is important to remember that brass only reacts with sour stuff.

**Q: Does it tarnish?**
A: Yes. Purity has its way of being visible. As pure silver turns black over time, pure brass also tarnishes. However, you can use the Pitambari Powder to retain the shine of the Brass Ghee Pot!

**Q: What if the Ghee turns Green?**
A: If the ghee comes in contact with salt, the ghee might turn green. Even if a salty spoon comes in contact with ghee, the ghee will slowly turn green. It is best to get rid of that ghee, clean the pot with clean water and pour in a fresh batch of ghee

**Q: What is the best way to clean Brass and Copper utensils?**
A: You can use a normal dishwashing soap to clean the utensils from the inside and Pitambari or a paste made from Flour (Atta), Vinegar/lemon Juice, and salt can be applied on the outside to retain the shine of the utensils.
