Salicylic Acid Powder

This salicylic acid powder is exactly what I was hoping for. The powder is very fine, clean, and free of any noticeable odor or discoloration, which tells me it’s been well-processed and handled properly. Very good powder

I made a simple 2% solution in 70% ethanol, works like a charm on active acne and ingrown hairs!

Let me start by saying I'm a laboratory manager (pathology) so I'm familiar with acids/bases and their uses. This is NOT oil soluble, nor did it desolve in isopropyl ETOH (alcohol) it contains 30% H2O. I had to use 100% ETOH - something most people don't have laying around their homes and you wouldn't want on your skin! If you still want to go forward with your purchase, be aware of the processes required to get the crystalline structure to desolve: more additives/chemicals which I suspect is the reason ppl buy this; to get away from more chemicals on their skin. You can't just mix it into your moisturizer, shampoo, toner etc. You will need to break this down to be utilized properly. Watch a YouTube demo on how to do this so you're aware of the entire process along with the chemicals and time to work with this. As far as the "powder" it appears as described, clean and works as intended as an acid. I hope this helps with your decision on buying this. In all honesty its just easier to buy a clean pre mixed skin care product with what you need - less hassle.

Ive had dry skin pretty much my whole life and tried basically every hand cream out there. The only one that ever provided any real relief was an over priced SAv ( even with a pharmacy coupon) cream. I finally had enough when it hit me “why not try pure SA? So now i just add this to the umpteen thousands a leftover creams i have and my skin is healed! Highly recomended.
