He absolutely loves rocket ships and has been happily playing with it and showing it to anyone who will pay him attention. He runs around with it pretending it’s flying through the air or blasting off. The lights and sounds add to his glee over the toy as does the astronaut guy that comes with it. As others have mentioned, the arm that the astronaut can connect to, seems like it may break unless the child is playing with it carefully. The canopy and front window that opens stick and are difficult to open for a small child, but that works to your advantage, they can’t play with the arm without your help. My son did drop it from about 3 feet onto our wood floor and the front window popped off, but snapped back on without damage. Overall, I’m happy with the quality, look, and price point for this toy and my son loves it! Review: Awesome for a space obsessed child - Very cute spaceship for my 2 year old thats obsessed with everything space planets and all. The size is decent come with sounds and lights...however on ours one of the lights didn't work...the ladder for the astronaut fell off almost immediately...apart from that it's a great toy the kid loves it and doesn't put it down since it arrived ## Features - Portable ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07NJZHV6N | | Additional Features | Portable | | Age Range Description | Toddler | | Are Batteries Required | Yes | | Batteries are Included | Yes | | Battery Description | Alkaline | | Brand | Daron | | Colour | Nasa | | Country of Origin | USA | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 3,137 Reviews | | Educational Objective | Space | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00817346025884 | | Included Components | airplane | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Is Assembly Required | No | | Item Dimensions | 24.1 x 19.1 x 10.2 Centimeters | | Item Weight | 173 g | | Manufacturer | DARON | | Manufacturer Part Number | PT63112 | | Material | Plastic | | Maximum Recommended age | 999.0 | | Model Name | Space Adventure Series: Space Shuttle with Lights and Sounds & Figure | | Model Number | PT63112 | | Number of Batteries | 2 AAA batteries required. I’d stick to a model of a rocket that was actually used as a collectible. Perhaps the Saturn V or the Space Shuttle. **Q: What kind of lights are in the engine? led? hopefully not like lasers that could damage eyes if looked into? assuming not since there is no warning.** A: Not at all, my grandson loves his space shuttle. Typical lighting made for toys. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great toy for kids obsessed with rocket ships! *by M***4 on 10 January 2021* I got this toy for my 2.5 year old for Christmas.
