This is my favorite pencil sharpener! It works so well! We use it for both #2 pencils and colored pencils and it works great! You can change the setting for how sharp you want the pencil to be! It makes the same noise as an average sharpener. I can trust my students to use it as it sharpens on its own and pops the pencil out when it’s finished. Because it’s a smaller sharpener, if an eraser somehow gets placed inside the sharpener it’s easy to fix/get out

This pencil sharpener is an amazing product on its own. It sharpens quickly, evenly, and has been such a reliable tool to have on hand. It’s powerful, easy to use, and perfect for both classroom and home use.However, mine recently stopped working and I thought the battery may have died. I tried different outlets, cords, and troubleshooting on my own but couldn’t get it running again. I reached out to AFMAT’s customer service, and they responded right away asking me to send a short video so they could see what the issue was. They walked me through a few additional options to try, and when none of those worked, they immediately sent me a brand new sharpener free of charge. It arrived within two days!They were incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. I am beyond satisfied with their customer service and truly impressed by how they stand behind their product. I would absolutely recommend both this sharpener and AFMAT as a company!

I never thought I would spend this much on an electric pencil sharpener, but I am genuinely glad I did. It is fast, smooth, and oddly satisfying to use. The automatic sharpening feature is a huge plus because it sharpens only as much as needed and stops at the right point, so you do not waste lead.If you use higher end pencils like Faber Castell Polychromos or Hi-Uni graphite pencils, you know every millimeter counts. This sharpener helps protect that investment by giving you a precise, consistent point without over sharpening.At first glance it looks a little chunky, and you honestly cannot even tell it is an electric sharpener from the front. I actually like that about it because it blends in nicely on my desk instead of looking like a bulky tool. It is also cordless, which makes it super convenient. No plugging and unplugging every time you want to sharpen something.The design is adorable and doubles as desk decor. I chose the green robot version without the eyes so I could add my own googly eyes for a bit of personality, and it makes me smile every time I see it.Overall, this is a fun, well designed, and high quality sharpener that performs beautifully and looks great doing it. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade for anyone who uses pencils regularly.

*****UPDATE*****It's been about 2 months since I wrote this review and my love for this pencil sharpener has only increased!It has been dropped (onto a tile floor, no less), several times and has sharpened pencils 100s of times because the kids are so excited to use it! It's quick and you definitely KNOW when it's sharp because it spits your pencil back out. I charge it every other day (it could probably go longer) and just plug the USB into my computer before going home. Being cordless is a HUGE plus!I'm not saying this is Superman's pencil sharpener but have YOU seen Clark Kent using one like it?Teachers get excited over strange things and a pencil sharpener is one of them! I LOVE this thing! Worth every penny and I will get another one just like it when this one eventually croaks.I am a 2nd Grade teacher and wanted to try this out. While it it's only been a few days, I already love it!The noise is about the same as any other electronic sharpener, but the great things about it are:1) Rechargeable and cordless! I love that I can walk around and bring the sharpener to the pencils, not the other way around. The mobility is a great feature and it charges easily within an hour or so with a USB. I'm not sure how long the charge lasts but at least 4-5 hours so far.2) It grabs, sharpens and ejects your pencil! No more kids pulling it out after 2 seconds to see if it's sharp only to shove it back in again. Brilliant!3) Pink! The color says purple, but you can definitely see it's a hot pink. I love pink so this was a bonus for me!Not sure if it will hold up against 7 and 8 year olds for 180 days, but we'll see! From what I've seen so far, it was totally worth the investment...who knew pencil sharpening could be fun?!?

This is a must have for colored pencilenthusiasts. It’s automatic and sharpens the pencil perfectly. I thought it was expensive but you get what you pay for and this was definitely worth it!

I would’ve given this five stars if it hadn’t stopped holding a charge after one school year. I stuck big googly eyes on this little guy so he looks like he has eyes and a mouth. We named him Muncho. The students love him! I only use him for colored pencils, and the kids find it really exciting to be able to come up and sharpen their own colored pencils with it- we love the way you just push it down in there and let go and Muncho does the rest like magic. It does a fantastic job sharpening the soft lead whereas my regular electric pencil sharpener breaks them and devours them. I almost took two stars off because while I did have it for one whole school year before it stopped holding a charge, that still wasn’t acceptable. It wasn’t even used every day, because we only use colored pencils occasionally. Now it won’t hold a charge long enough to even get through one art project using colored pencils. And this little guy was not cheap!!

It works well when it works, but mine does not auto feed in and out like it says it does. It's also very loud. For the price i paid I expected it to work perfectly. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. I do however like the color I chose which is blue. The design is pretty cool too.UPDATE The seller of this item is so nice and offered me a replacement. They are very easy to work with and very accommodating as well as nice. Because of this I would recommend this product completely. It does a good job and the seller is super easy to work with. Definitely buy this sharpener you won't be dissatisfied. Great customer service.Had to change it to 5 stars as the customer service of this seller is the best I have experienced in many, many years. I would trust this seller again and buy from them again in the future!!! Great Work

Broke already. I’ve had it for only 2 months.

We loved it. So far, it is still working for us. It sharpens the pencils really sharp and quick. Just input and it is done! We used to have Borsch one. However, this one is a lot better. Its design is great as it is very easy for kids to put the pencil in for sharpening and parents to clean the residual from the machine.

purchased for my 90 year old mother who loves her colouring in now she doesn't have to wait for me to go and sharpen her pencils - we love it

Best sharpener I've come across! Love using it in my classroom or at home. All the teacher aides love it too and want their own (which some have already bought). Sharpens amazingly well. Great hold of charge. Love love love it!
