I found one of the pictures of the card + cable to be confusing, as it seemed to indicate the type b cable was the correct one. However, closer inspection of the other pictures and descriptions revealed the difference though: my card's power socket is even with the heat sink fins, not recessed slightly behind them. That's what the "parallel to the cooler" is supposed to mean. Furthermore, with my model card plugged into an extended ATX motherboard, its orientation means this Type A cable has its 3 extensions hanging down toward the bottom of my case (a phanteks enthoo). This is where my power supply is installed, so works out perfect for my setup. Lastly, the build, fit, and finish of the cable seems pretty nice. If this turns out not to work out in the long term, I come back and update this review. As of right now though, it's 5 stars all around for me. Review: Excellent connectivity. No overheating on an RTX 5080. Good quality producct. - Bought to avoid bending the power cable that came with an RTX 5080. The plug ran flawlessly.
