But also they work great for someone who needs to add elevation to their scope too, or even drop some elevation to correct a scope with not enough reticle travel for long range shooting. For a 22lr or PCP/C02 airguns, the two screws that compress or sandwich the aluminum tang to tighten and adjust the heights will probably hold, but I would be more reserved on using this on high recoiling guns. Its just friction fit. Overall machining on this set seems pretty good from Monstrum, although I had an issue with their one piece inline rings. They helped me get more clicks out of my scope and still got to zero at 50 yards.
