Is this product suitable for mending a pure linen tablecloth?

I have used it on cotton it should be okay, if you are going to wash it at a higher temperature you may find it comes unstuck round the edges. I usually iron it on so secure and stitch edges carefully to the fabric I'm mending. Linen is usually quite thick so it should be alright. iron the right side to make sure all the frayed edge goes inwards, turn over to underside do the same there and then iron your patch, about a centre meterout all the way round the repair, if you round off edges it tends to be less visible. good luck.

There is a discrepancy in the size - on the hand it’s described as 7x16 inches and the product description says 7x0.5x16 cm. Which is it?

Hi there, inches I`m sure. I ironed them on to 2 huge tear`s in my horses fly rug last year. Very impressed with the product. Saved the rug and did cope when got wet.
