I've been looking for alternatives for preserving food as I don't have the space to can anymore. This brand was a top selection from many reputable bloggers. I love this dehydrator! It works exactly as advertised at a reasonable price. I don't know how I lived without it for so long. I recommend to everyone.

I use this dehydrator often. It works very well and has plenty of shelf space. The pullout bottom tray makes it easy to clean. The wire racks are a bit harder to clean due to them being larger than the kitchen sink.

The fan repeatedly shuts off throughout the whole cycle (about every 20 secs) thus not drying your food and is only about halfway dry after a 10 hr cycle. I did a quick Google search and found out it’s a problem among this same manufactured batch and that customer service is not helpful with the issue. I contacted them but not getting my hopes up. Will probably just continue to return it and receive new ones until I find a good one possibly. I’ve noticed some have received multiple new ones still with the same issue though. The company has told everyone so far that it is not normal for it to run that way.

It works efficiently and dries herbs evenly without needing much attention. The temperature control is easy to use, and it maintains a consistent low heat that is ideal for delicate herbs. The trays are spacious and allow for good airflow, which helps everything dry evenly. The unit feels sturdy and well built, and the glass doors make it easy to check progress without opening it. I am planning to try making jerky next, and I am looking forward to seeing how it performs with that as well. Overall, this has been a very reliable and easy-to-use dehydrator that works great for herbs.

I have done Marjoram, oregano and basil in this awesome machine, even dehydrated apples, pears, frozen strawberries, kiwi, and bananas. Everything dries excellent, except for the basil, it takes almost 3 days for it to dry and that is not normal. That is the only complaint I have with this dehydrator.

Quiet and works great. Made beef jerk and was done in 5 hours. Had the beef sliced very thin. Dried apples and pineapples and kids preferred them over store bought. Have used it already 3 times in a week and works as instructions show in manual.

Just plugged in my 6 tray unit and the fan makes what I can only describe as an ebb and flow sound. (also a tiny click noise) Nothing is extremely loud or annoying, but a little concerning that the fan sound would ebb every 30 seconds or so; not consistent. At this price, I would hate for it to go out after a few uses. I returned the first one because of this, but this one does it too! Can anyone help me that has this unit? Is this normal? When I google it, AI tells me this is not normal. Should I return and try another brand? I have no experience with dehydrators so any help is appreciated.

Lamentablemente solo lo pude intentar usar unas horas porque el ventilador no funcionó jamás, no giraba, no deshidrataba ni hojas. Es una lástima ya que la marca es muy buena pero no sé si por no ser fabricantes directos tengan ese defecto, sugiero comprar directo con Excalibur.

No se ponen en rojo los 4 alambres de la resistencia, no pude contactar con el vendedor para preguntar si es normal o no siento que no calienta al maximo a los 74°c

Alguien me ayuda a saber cómo hacer los chips de verduras? (Camote, betabel, zanahoria). Utilicé la receta del libro que trae y quedan agüadas. Intenté hacerlas de nuevo sin cocción previa y quedan sin sabor.
