Works Great on Fanatec CSL Accelerator Pedal
This is an easy upgrade to add some much needed resistance to the CSL accelerator pedal for not much money. It does create some noise, however, it shouldn't be super creaky and loud. If you are experiencing very loud creaky sound after installation, loosen the attachment hardware some and continue loosening and testing until the noise is gone (or fairly silent). Overtightening of the attachment hardware is what caused some crazy creaky noise upon my first installation. After loosening, the noise has been greatly minimized.

Hard spring mod reduces throttle range
The hard spring mod, for me, is not usable, because it restricts the range of your throttle by about 10%. I have the load cell brake, so I haven't tested the mod on the non-lc brake, and it's possible that the hard cap works okay on that one. You can see in the pictures that the longer cap keeps your pedal from going all the way down. As for sound, there are a few things that generate noise here... 1) First one is the spring itself flexing. This is not making much noise at all and not really the issue. 2) Second one is the spring rubbing against the the threading of the outside of the metal tube. As the spring contacts these threads it makes noise. This can be somewhat mitigated by tightening the resistance. More resistance = less threading for the spring to make contact with. 3) The final noise is the main one people are posting in videos. This one is sort of squeaky, where it sounds almost like a record scratching. What is actually happening is sort of bad installation of the mod. This sound is happening because the rod is not entering the tube perfectly straight on. The rod is going in at a slight angle, and thus making unnecessary friction against the tubing as it goes in. The best way to test this is to remove the spring entirely. If you have it installed correctly you can see there is zero additional noise. Any extra angle and you will hear the noise.

Must buy for Fanatec CSL!
Great mod! Better acceleration! People are saying it's a bit noisy, just coat the spring and contact areas with silicone oil!

May work better with clubsport v3. Not needed for standard csl
If you are buying this for gran turismo dd pro, don't. You don't need it. The stock pedals that come with it work better than this.

Works, with extra work
It gets the job done, with modifications. One of the two I purchased leaked fluid from the shock. Does come with the softer and harder spring, for me the harder spring wasn't enough to stiffen the throttle for my use case, even with the shock adjusted to complete tightness. I bought a 3/4-10 nut and slid it under the spring, and also added some nylon electrical tape between the nut/strut body/spring to eliminate any vibration and prevent the spring from buckling under pressure and running against the shock body. You will ABSOLUTELY need to put something in between the spring and shock body regardless of adding the nut because the spring WILL rub against the shock body and get extremely loud. I've researched and seen other people look for a stiffer spring, I can tell you adding the nut is a lot easier, and in most cases, a lot cheaper and quicker. I got the nut from Lowe's for 64¢ lol At the end of the day, I've seen a $60 more professional option from other sites, and if you find that one, or one of similar quality to that one, just get that one instead of this Amazon option. As long as you can add a bass shaker to your pedals with the other options if you go down that path, and be able to really stiffen the spring rate as well, then go with the slightly more expensive options. The extra work involved really doesn't make this one worth it in the end. I can confirm at least that with this option you can still add bass shakers, for what that's worth.

Must have Fanatec CSL mod
This mod is a game changer. The feel from the throttle pedal is 100% improved. If it is installed as pictured there should be no noise at all. Installation was very easy and I used the harder spring and increased the stiffness somewhat.

Great but noisy
Works as expected and has a much more realistic pedal feel. However it is super noisy and is annoying. With headphones or sound up not noticable.

perfect mod/upgrade
installs in seconds and performs like a dream! exactly what throttle needed. highly recommend!! using the more stout spring with it preloaded about 1/3rd, and there is virtually zero noise like i have seen people say in other reviews.

Resistente

I enjoy the feel it provides, is a bit noisy so just a heads up
I really do enjoy the way that this product makes the accelerator pedal feel. It's adjustability allows you to get it right where you want. The only reason I did not give it a five star was due to the noise it produces and the slight feel. You can hear this set up moving which could be annoying. I wear headphones 100% of the time so I don't care but could get on your nerves if you are listening to it all the time. You feel a slight roughness when first using it, but it does smooth out over time.

Massive Change in Trail Braking Precision
This has improved my Trail Braking immensely after a few practice sessions to get use to the fell, with the hard spring managed to get 0.450 off my personal best. Yes it does induce some noise but it makes sense, but I did find that most noise was due to over tightening the bolts putting unnecessary pressure on the 3d printed parts, loosen them up a little to the point you don't hear the squeaking noise and you're left with the spring noise, that's normal and it's not as bad as some mention. Great cheap upgrade that improves your trail braking feel and control for sure!

Sogar sehr gut! Deutlich einfacheres und stabileres Trail Braking. Die Idee ist super! Die Ausführung ist mies.
