I bent the spring in my 42/44mm band. What size replacement spring should I buy?

I would take the pin (not bent) to the nearest Walmart or whatever dept store you’re close to and get a match. I am not sure exactly what size.

I have heard that some watch bands containing metal affect the Apple Watch 5 compass app. Does this one?

It has a buckle that may be metal but I have not noticed any problem. It’s a great band, you won’t find a better one.
