However, with this travel cot, it's easy to get in and out and soothe baby back to sleep. It's great that it's certified by the Canadian government as sleep safe for babies, which has more regulations on this than other countries. We didn't try the bassinet as our little one is over 10 months old, but it looks great! Given that our baby (somewhat) accepts this cot, we sometimes use it for naps at home and we have travelled around with it. It's easy to fold, not heavy, and it travels well by plane too. Easy to use, and assemble. We use it every time grandson comes over. He is still only four months so we are still using the upper level for him to sleep on and to also use with an activity gym. Occasionally we have sat his baby bouncer on it too so he is at our height when we are having lunch. In a few months, we can see that he will be at the lower level, as it won't be long before he is more mobile.
