PERDE Headlight Set Compatible with Lincoln Town Car 98-02 Halogen With Performance Lens Passenger and Driver Side

My 2001 town car had original headlamps that were cracked and faded. These were super affordable, they took less than 5 minutes each to install and they include the lightbulbs. I’m very happy with these.

Overall this product was exactly what I was looking for. They were packaged perfectly so as to not get damaged in shipping. The only issue I found with them is that the headlight bulb retaining ring is shorter than OEM version & rubber collar was firm & high so one could not get a grip to twist ring as required to change bulb. Most would never notice this but I wanted to switch the bulbs out with my Sylvania Ultras that I had replaced the OEM headlights with. With the help of a wise mechanic he managed to devise a way using 3 screwdrivers (2 to use like fingers & 1 to put between them to turn ring) to give it the quarter turn it needed. I used the OEM retainers once I replaced the bulbs in case I ever needed to replace a bulb in future. Mfg should use a taller retaining ring in case one needed to change bulbs; or, put some type of tab or similar to grab onto in order to be able to easily twist the ring. I only needed 1 light but chose this item to get the pair because the price is good and that way both sides are new & match each other.

Reason i only gave 4 stars is my mechanic said there were slight issues installing them but the main issue was the leveling bubbles never moved when he was trying to get the lights at the same height.

Projects a shadow in the middle of light, very distracting.

absolutely very happy w/this product. Great to see the road again...!! To install was an engineers genius design couldn't get any easier...don't need to have any kind of mechanical knowledge to install. 3 flat pieces of metal that are about 8-10 inches in length...top has an L-Shape. Pull on the L-Shape and the slats come right out & so does the entire assembly. Unplug from the back....get your new ones...plug back in...put in place & push the slats down & you have just installed you new see everything headlights..! I purchased my set from HEADLIGHTSDEPOT...they were everything you would hope to find with a business. Staff were very understanding & got the new set to me within 2 days. I had to purchase the set first...understandable...and as soon as I sent them the photos verifying the old ones...just as we want to see in sellers they too want to see in buyers. They saw I was also an Honorable Person-buyer & my account was immediately reimbursed. So with solid confidence I highly recommend HEADLIGHTSDEPOT...they are a Noble business partner with Amazon.
