FUWANG Touch Keyboard Case for iPad mini 7/6 8.3-inch, 360° Rotating, Black

This case has helped me replace an aging laptop that I’d bring with me when traveling. It is much lighter than my windows laptop and can fit into my smallest backpack. The keyboard is responsive and well made. The track bad is serviceable but I often opt to also pair a small Bluetooth mouse with it. That being said it’s completely fine to use if you don’t want the hassle of carrying another device. The color is a nice cherry red which is a bit darker the almost pink looking picture for the product. It connects very quickly and the battery lasts a good long. For the price you essentially make your iPad mini a mini MacBook and was well worth the price. I don’t have an apple pen so its holder functions almost like a handle for the device. If you’re thinking about purchasing it, I’d say go for it.

Writing from it right now! And I have significantly gotten much better at it. I wanted something more so for journaling on the go. I’ve had this in my cart for almost a year and have been going without a case and never bit the bullet but am so glad I finally did. It is adorable, the purple matches my iPad and generic iPad pencil so it is aesthetically pleasing to me. It did take a second to get use to typing because you have to adjust to such a smaller keyboard plus the way they chose to interchange fn and shift as the way to get to alternate symbols I managed to get it but the instructions dont have too many details but is still use friendly all be it not a whole lot of info. Writing for long periods of time I definitely recommend turning the trackpad off as it could potentially cause havoc mid sentence but it’s a non issue for me. Holding it one handed is a little uncomfortable but nothing too much of an issue for me seeing as the case can holster your IPad up in many different ways but I’ve always been one to use my IPad upright so this case mostly enables landscape mode which could be annoying if you use it upright. The only annoying this is tik toks don't look the best horizontally, I mean its a comfortable experience it just sits on my chest or stomach and if I really wanted to I could just hold it upright for the view I prefer but just to give you a look into how this really is best when using on something, laps, tables, chest but one handed is not the best for this case so use preference. As far as lag the trackpad can be a little slow for me sometimes but it’s nothing crazy as for typing there are no lagging issues and I can type pretty fast. As for how long the battery last unfortunately I would not know because I habitually charge all my devices so I don’t expect me to see it at low battery within its life time but if I do Ill update. So far it has operated for over 3 hours or so with limited usage alternating it on and off based on my needs but again I charged it after that so I don’t know how reliable this is on the go all day without a portable charger but I also always have one of those one me so again, probably not gonna be an issue for me. As for the value for the money it is definitely worth it and am very happy to have it, it honestly makes my iPad look very upscale and expensive. 1 thing I did notice while writing this as I wanted to write 100 percent a couple times and realized this lacks a percent sign BUT again that’s niche, its available on my screen but something to note.

Good enough. I am keeping it. Three stars for the price paid, good deal. THE BAD: > Trackpad is not very responsive. — It works, but is not precise. Nevertheless you can just touch the screen anyway. It’s faster. > The cover does not sleep/wake up the iPad when you close/open it. — Not cool, but I got used to just pressing the ON/OFF button or just let the iPad go to sleep on its own. > Does not have the DELETE key. I use it plenty. THE UGLY: > The cover is plastic. Doesn’t feel premium, but it is robust and protects well the iPad. > It tilts over if you open it beyond 110. > Heavy and a bit bulky. THE GOOD: > Has a great holder for the Apple Pencil. Not many cases include it. > The battery life is great. I have used it all week already. > The keys are backlit with seven different colors and three intensities. Works great. > The keys feel awesome, responsive, and premium. > The BT pairing is instant.

I am very picky about my iPad cases. This is the 5th case I’ve bought for this particular iPad mini. This is the first one I’ve found that checks all the boxes. It’s sturdy, functional and stylish. The pencil holder works perfectly and feels more secure than others I’ve had. Being able to rotate the top “screen” area is a major plus. The keyboard is awesome! Comfortable to use, not too noisy, and it lights up with pretty colors! And it holds a charge like a beast! It also doesn’t block my charger cord by having a tight port hole. I love the fact that it is affordable and was eligible for overnight shipping. I feel like I got a fancy case for a bargain, but frankly having had the “fancy/expensive” cases I prefer this one to them. I have kids, cats and dogs and am often on the go for work, so having a case that I feel confident can take on any mischief my crew throws at it is important. One note, it was a bit stiff when I first got it but after a week of regular use it loosened up to just right. I hate when they’re too loose. So this one being on the stiffer side was perfect for me. Highly recommend.

It came with charge and my 4 y/o daughter is ecstatic! The pairing was easy. Will update after more uses. Update: it does not hold charge very well. I charged it and it went from 100% to 77% in just a slit second. I was able to see that on her device. I’m not too worried about it because she finds the thrill in just pretending she’s “working” like mommy and just be typing away. It was cheaper than buying her leap frog especially when she has so much educational apps on her iPad which the keyboard doesn’t interfere with whether on/off.

PROS: Extremely sturdy 360 hinge. Easy to pair the case to your iPad and to place the iPad into the case. The keyboard lights up (yellow or multicolored fading). Very lightweight, perfect for using any where. 360 hinge allows for great angles for drawing, watching videos, or using without the keyboard. The keyboard is the perfect size for those who do not have large hands. Has an Apple Pencil holder. Absolutely worth the price point for the value of the product. Beautiful color in person. The apple logo shows on the back. CONS: The material is not very durable, so this is not recommended for those who often or even sometimes tend to drop their devices. The keyboard itself does not hold a very long charge, but does charge quickly. Use of the trackpad when moving the cursor on the iPad is a bit clunky/does not offer for very smooth movement of the cursor. The iPad will fall out of the case easily when opening the case (place your thumb directly on the iPad when pulling open to prevent this from happening).

After approximately two months of use, the keyboard’s functionality ceased. Although Bluetooth connectivity is established, it disconnects after five minutes. This issue is particularly frustrating as I rely on this keyboard for daily work purposes.

This case is great! I’ve had my eye on this for a couple of months and finally purchased it on Black Friday! It has some weight to it, but it feels like good quality with easy installation and a good fit. The keys are pretty good, the mouse works great, and connecting the Bluetooth was quick and easy. Now I just need to put some stickers on it ☺️

Excellent product! Looks beautiful, feels high quality, works perfectly. The hinge is nice and strong, the keyboard and touchpad work great. I love that the screen swivels so I can have both laptop mode and tablet mode! Being able to store my apple pencil is a lovely bonus that makes it feel nice and complete. Excellent product, highly recommend.

The device makes your iPad like notebook! Great ability to type a messages, give you the option to locate in different positions. Recommended!

This is an excellent combined keyboard and case for the iPad mini, not too heavy, robust to protect it. Turns the iPad mini into a laptop! Good to have the touch pad which many keyboards of this kind lack.
