​Thomas & Friends Motorized Toy Train Talking Percy Battery-Powered Engine with Sounds & Phrases for Pretend Play Preschool Kids Ages 3+ Years

This has been a lot of fun. It does fit on a wooden train track such as the one for IKEA, it is just a little wide though so it doesn't handle turns super well. The battery life isn't great, but we do play with it a lot. It doesn't go into a true standby mode. If one of them gets bumped in a toy box they start talking to each other and I have found that if it is moving and it comes to a wall it will just keep trying to push forward for an absurdly long time which definitely adds to his battery issues. One of my very favorite features is the location of the speaker which is in a prime spot to add a piece of packing tape over to quiet it down a bit. All that said though I absolutely do love it. We have several of them at home and they have brought us great joy. They function simply enough that kids can operate them, there is no assembly required And some of these have survived drops, falls and crashes in our home for years without getting broken which is a pretty impressive feat. The paint and plastic still look great despite extensive use.

Great for the great grand son.

How fun! This motorized two car and one engine Thomas the train was a hit with my two-year-old granddaughter. She absolutely loves Thomas. She loves that she can load the car with a removable top, loads her own toys, blocks, etc. What a great toy. Batteries already included. No fuss, no muss! Packaging was not that hard to remove. I would recommend scissors just to cut a couple of the bands, otherwise easy and recyclable materials. We will be adding more train engines to our collection!

Great addition to our Thomas the Train track. My grandson has so much fun watching all the interaction between the character cars.

Nice toy for a train loving kid. This seems to last longer then other electric trains but there is no switch to turn the toy completely off so the button to start and stop the toy can be easily be activated at all the wrong moments.

This train is fantastic. Voices work and and its fast, High quality design. It maintains traction well. No assembly required, Value for money is great, The only thing that is a little bit of an issue is that it can be a little top heavy, And if you use them on the tracks that are designed specifically for these trains they sometimes fall off on the turns. They either need to make the track more stable or make these trains with a lower center of balance. These trains will talk to every other train with the same "T" button on it. Its hilarious and super wholesome. It can be annoying when one of them goes off in a bin as then you have to go find it and turn it off. TIP FOR PARENTS.... Hold for 3 seconds is a temporary kill switch until the button is pushed again.
