If left at room temperature at around 20 C, it is easy to rub in, the smell is pleasant and it gives good protection for my needs. I live in an area in the North of the country, where UV levels are seldom higher than medium and I don't stay exposed to the sun for more than 60 when stationary/90 minutes when moving about, at a time, before I apply more cream, or seek shade, I didn't burn at all and I built up a lovely sun tan this year. I assumed that I could stay in the sun, as a fair skinned person, but with very few freckles, for about 20 minutes without burning at medium level UV and 10 minutes on days with high level UV and for that reason and because of it's good reviews, I chose this factor 6 suncream and I'm happy with my choice.
