RAVIN Crossbow Package, Illuminated Scope, Lightweight, Pre-Assembled

Very disappointed in Ravin for putting such a crappy scope on their product, I would be embarrassed to ruin my reputation with such cheap junk. Scope wouldn’t adjust down any further and was 5” high at 40 yds. Doesn’t have the speed ring to compensate speed for heavier broadheads and on top of that it has flimsy plastic covers on the adjustment knobs. Spend the extra money and get the R10 Pro with a decent scope or go and and order another one. The numbers on the inside from 20-100 are so tiny you can’t even see them with 20/20 vision. And for the bow the broadhead sticks out past the limbs 2” which is so stupid, i am not a fan of this model. I have a Ravin R20 which i absolutely love and can’t say enough good things about it but after 7 years my limbs started to splinter. I’m buying new limbs and hopefully it will last forever, but in the meantime i ordered the R8 because it was a week before an out of state hunt. The R8 was a huge disappointment but my daughter did kill a nice buck with it at 30yds. I didn’t trust the accuracy of the scope to shoot any further. Ravin is a great bow for everyone from beginners to well seasoned hunters, i take a lot of first timers hunting and they have absolutely drilled their first deer with my R20. If you’re considering spending the money on a Ravin I don’t suggest the R8. For just a little more you can get the R10 and the scope is so much better and the broad head doesn’t stick out past the limbs so you can actually set it down without damaging your bolt or broad head
