George loves summer nights in the countryโthat's where he does his best stargazing. When his friend Bill says that nobody knows how many stars there are, George is determined to count! But how will he keep track? Come along as George learns all about stars, constellations, and the night sky. Based on the Emmy-winning PBS show, this story is filled to the brim with additional facts, real photos, experiments, activities, and more. Learning about science has never been so much fun! Review: lovely although I expected a bit more... - The illustration and the entire idea are lovely, but I think we could do with a bit more - I especially love how the stars are introduced, and it'd be brilliant if there are intros to the shapes of more constellations. Review: Wonderful introduction to the constellations for young children. - Delightful way to introduce your youngun's to the constellations! Gifted illustrator.

Stars at night, little boyโs delight
I bought this for my nephewโs little boy, who turned 3 this year. My nephew said he read the book to his little boy, and Beckett now points out the moon and stars at night.

My kids like it
Great book for littles that are interested in astronomy early on. My boys are young and love curious george but also want to learn all about the constellations. We bought this book in conjunction with The Stars a New Way To See Them by H.A. Rey. We will be using both of these books to introduce astronomy to my kids and plan on using them for years to come.

Fun and educational
My son loves Curious George what a wonderful way for him to learn about the stars at the same time. The book matches an episode of Curious George with additional facts in the margins. Very clever. We will be using in our homeschool room.

Okay. Not the best.
Good book to teach kids about the stars. But only the last page shows a drawing of the constellations. That was a little disappointing. More pages of diagrams of the constellations would be much better. So Iโm only giving it 3 stars because I was expecting it to be much better.
