Pattern aid
A definite requirement for anyone into making their own clothes or outfits. Good price, arrives well protected in a strong tube if you buy off the roll. I tend to buy 20m at a time so it lasts quite a while. Good quality slightly translucent paper with 2cm markings.

Second roll
Replacing my previous roll. Good quality. I use tracing wheel but can trace through. Dots helpful for grain lines, etc

Will work for most people
Exactly what I wanted for drawing out a series of iterations of a shirt pattern as a first attempt at clothes making. This paper is a nice weight, although could still lose a few GSM to be thinner still; it is difficult to trace through. Nit picking since this next quirk does not really matter to me, but the squares and crosses will not line up if you turn through 90°. The printing seems a bit random, if I am honest, but it is at least straight in each direction. I use a 1m rule, 12" ruler, carpenters square, and a wildly inaccurate measuring tape that I didn't realise was way off before taking all my measurements 3 times and using the average. Sigh!

Seller and product are fantastic. The courier... not so much.
My paper just arrived, and is exactly as advertised. I'd say it is fantastic value for money, and certainly better than the wrapping paper I'd been using before (I only had to look at that stuff wrong and it would tear)! The dots and crosses are 2cm apart, while the paper seems good and sturdy. The paper is probably slightly too thick to easily trace through, but I was never looking for that, so it doesn't bother me. The packaging is good and sturdy. It took a slight battering on the way to me, but the paper inside is fine. It would have to be pretty badly bent or crunched to have a detrimental effect on the paper inside. My only issue was with the courier: Hermes has seriously dropped the ball on this one, but that is not the fault of either the seller, or Amazon. In the end, they eneded up sending a replacement via Royal Mail. The original package is probably still languishing somewhere in a Hermes warehouse, waiting to be processed... Speaking of the seller, Alan has been fantastic! I'm sure there must have been lots of messages from angry customers whose orders haven't arrived, but responses were always quick and helpful. All around, excellent customer service!

Just what I wanted - excellent purchase!
Excellent sewing paper. I used it to prepare a sewing pattern from an old dress that I had disassembled. The paper is sturdy, and easy to work with - which means that the new sewing pattern will last for years. The paper rolls out flat - and the fact that it arrive on a roll makes for easy storage. The dot crosses are a huge advantage to align the dress fabric. I initially purchased one roll - but was so impressed that I bought two more.

Kinda shiny, doesn’t iron.
You can’t iron this flat, it just goes crinkly which makes it near useless for purpose.
