Great Game!
I recently received my Final Act board game and have played 4 games so far. My son and I really enjoyed each battle and look forward to our next game. The components are all top quality (wood) and add to the fun experience. I had a game that was similar as a child called Tank Battle which I really enjoyed. This game is much better and there is no luck involved such as dice or a spinner. If your looking for a fun military themed game that is both fun and quick to learn and play, this is the game. One last thing, the customer service from TYTO is excellent. I had a few questions before I purchased the game and they were very quick to answer and fully supported the game if a piece was received that was broken. This didn't occur and I received the game in perfect condition. In short a great game form a great company and I highly recommend the game.

Missing a piece.
Giving this a 3 star, only because it was missing a piece. I was able to make a piece to replace it but when you're playing it's obvious one piece isn't like the others. Over all it's a fun game once you get the hang of it. Learning to play isn't to big of a challenge. And the wooden pieces are very nicely made.

Chess with tanks. Fun stuff
Holy moly, this was fun. The quality is shown in the tanks and the movement cards. It comes with 4 pages of rules but mostly explained on the first page. My 6yr old was intrigued by the small tanks that he's begun to pick up the basics, while difficult at first, he's now caught on. Quick explanation of how the game goes:*Choose your tanks movements in secret*Tanks now have the choice to shoot if they please, or if they can*Panels for movement are now exposed and movements are done accordingly.*Tanks that moved into a "shot" are now marked with a fire token, two hits and the tank is out and the tank stays put as an obstacle-then repeat until one tank makes it to the opponent's side, if tied then a second tank needs to make it.The feel of the game is a combination of war and chess. A friend said that he'd purchased 2 copies for a 2-on-2 battle.Pros:*quality*gameplay*simple to learn*replayabiltyCons:*sticker placement is a pain, but that is when you first get it. That's itHope this helps

Very high-quality production and a 10/10 tactical duel experience. My wife and I are obsessed!
Everything I expected and more. Materials are very, very high-quality, gameplay mechanics work very well, and the game manages to have much tactical depth while still using an economy of pieces. Setup is very quick and easy. I particularly love the lack of luck mechanics (dice, cards, etc.) and that there is a significant phsychological/poker-face factor. This truly feels like an intellectual dual between two people, and the fact that the game itself is so high-quality makes this an absolute must-buy. My only (minor) commplaint is that Amazon does not seem to carry the expansion pieces, so I had to order them through the seller's website, which cost about $14 minus shipping. They have yet to arrive, but a quick glance at the rules tells me that the small additional purchase will add much more depth to a game I was already satisfied with, without adding too many pieces to the mix. If you're looking for a solid tactical 1v1 experience, then you need to be throwing your money at this game.

Be the Desert Fox
Very fun to play game once you get the hang of it which comes after a game or two. Your side is trying the be the first to get at least one tank to the enemy's last line of defense, so its not really about destroying all your enemy's tanks, but being the quickest and avoiding being wiped out. I liked it so much, especially for the price, that I ordered a second set for a larger 4 person battle. My first set was missing a tank, so I contacted Tyto Games about the missing tank. I already planned to order the expansion stickers and advanced board game pieces from them directly, so I asked them if they could include the missing tank with my purchase, and they did. They replied to my email very quickly and did exactly as they said, so I was really impressed by their customer service. My family has been playing dad/son(5) vs mom/daughter(8) or kids vs parents and I play tank battle sounds off youtube to enhance the suspense. Board games go in and out of production and who knows if you will ever have a chance to purchase this in years to come, if your a fan of tanks and war-games, this is a no brainer, get it now while you can, you won't regret it.

Great! ...but...
GREAT game! Kind of across between Chess & Battleship! The components are nice quality solid wood for a game in this $ range also! Only two complaints: 1: The stickers you get to label your tanks & bombs aren't particularly "sticky" considering they are intended to be stuck on painted wood. They feel like they will come off over time & I'll likely have to paint the numbers onto the game peices when I run out of the included extras. None the less, this would still get 4-5 stars from me easily for fun factor alone but one of my little tanks showed up w/ the cannon (basically a painted matchstick) broken clean off. A blot of extra strength super glue fixed this but the tank looks a little wonky next to its team mates. In my opinion this peice was broken do to the choice of packing materials chosen for the tank peices which come in small, cloth, drawstring bags. W/ the tanks (& their fragile little matchstick cannons) all being shoved in their together it is a wonder only 1 was broken! Suggestion: Put these tanks in a box or a foam insert to avoid other customers having the same issue. All in all I enjoy this game despite the minor issues and I would buy it again. I just can't give more than 3 stars for something that shows up w/ broken peices... even if I do like it!

Strategy board game at its finest!
Imagine chess with the twist of range attacks and all your pieces are tanks. Simple rule of the game is to reach the other side of the board with one tank and you win. Simple yes but there is so much skill to it depending on what kind of way you want to play! The material of the board itself and pieces which are wood are fantastic quality. You place the stickers onto the tanks and shells themselves but then you are ready to play! Simple rules to learn but hard to master!

Not a bad game.
Not to bad of a game but a little slow. Board needs to be bigger and have more tanks.
