Styptic Pencil- Jumbo

It is what it is, a simple stick for nicks. It is, however, a brilliant simple stick for nicks.I have always been a traditional shaver - safety razor, shaving soap and brush daily so I've used plenty of styptic pencils in the past. This one however has knocked any that I bought previously out of the park. A little more expensive than others but well worth the price, It's big, solid and dead easy to use, I'm guessing it wont break in half after a few uses like so many have done before. It also works really well on sealing minor non-shave cuts so it is a handy standby for your first aid box. This will last for ages too so the extra cost over other pencils will even out in the end

Large. Will last me a lifetime. Unfortunately the stick was not stuck to the base but it works perfectly.

If you cut yourself shaving well worth the purchase as almost impossible to buy in shops these days. I know I have tried and laughed at responses. “No demand” “what?” “Not sold in years” BIG well known stores. So glad to find one that works. It’s big and better than the matchstick variants on offer.

It stops bleeding when shaving

Does what it says on the box,but after using wipe clean and dry so the damp does not make it crumble over time and keep it in the tube provided.This is a great buy as under normal circumstances it will last far longer than the smaller ones.

This stick is twice the size of the styptic pens you get in the chemist, it seals up cuts quickly, a few drops from the tap and it's ready, it does sting, but since you're placing it on skin that's opened up a tad by the razor, it's a given. It comes in a clear tube and sits on my bathroom cabinet/shelf ready to hand, it does have limitations, after using a cutthroat injector I sliced my chin, it took a while to close up the wound as you may well imagine, but it sort of managed it. It has to be dried after use as it starts to crystallize to the base, so be cautioned. All in all a useful item in you're shaving accessories inventory.

I've been using the Clubman Jumbo Styptic Pencil for years now, and it remains one of the best grooming investments I've ever made. This jumbo size is perfect – it lasts forever compared to the tiny ones, and you get plenty of product to work with. Whenever I get those inevitable razor nicks (especially on days when I'm in a hurry or trying a new blade), I just wet the tip slightly, dab it on the cut, and the bleeding stops almost immediately. No more tissue paper stuck to my face or walking around with little red dots on my collar. It stings for just a second (which tells you it's working), then it's done. The formula with aluminum sulfate seals the skin fast and helps prevent any infection. The pencil is easy to use, doesn't crumble, and the jumbo size means I don't have to replace it often. It's unscented, which I appreciate – no weird smells mixing with my aftershave. Works great not just for shaving but for any minor cuts too. If you shave regularly, do yourself a favor and keep one of these in your bathroom cabinet. It's cheap, effective, and reliable. Clubman has been around forever for a reason – this stuff just works. Highly recommended!
